CASE TYPE: Homicide
DATE: 01-24-1974
LOCATION: Wilson Ave at Ely Ave
VICTIM: "Baby Jane Doe"
SUSPECT: White (Italian Descent) or Hispanic Female -- Early 20's, dark hair, medium complexion, well dressed, walked south on Ely Av carrying the suitcase at 4:00 pm.
SUMMARY: At 4:30 pm, an 11 year old boy discovered the suitcase alongside the building at the corner of Wilson Ave and Ely Ave. He found the body of an infant inside . The infant was a determined to be a full term healthy newborn female and autopsy results ruled the death to be a Homicide. The infant was estimated to be dead for 2 to 3 days. Suitcase brand: Jesus A. Ossam of Medellin, Colombia.
