They might release his name and location once charges have been laid. I don't see that he has even been located yet. Isn't it wonderful how quickly he was identified once his mug was posted?

In the above link, he has a Seattle tee on, which probably means nothing..

Is it possible fbi has his identity but only the identity that this guy has supplied to the public...which may not be his correct factual id? Maybe that's why John Doe 12 is still Wanted?

Could the guy listed as John Doe 27 be the same as John Joe 12? They look so similar! Check it out...

John Doe 12 has a southern drawl, broken finger, short, thin, summer teeth, thin upper lip - everything we've identified. I'll go ahead & post a couple articles and the original FBI release on #12 & we can all decide. I think they look incredibly similar & wonder if they're one in the same. I hope this thread doesn't get locked until we know for sure.

HELENA — The FBI and law enforcement offi-cers in eastern Montana are asking for the public’s help in locating a man suspected of molesting a 5-year-old girl in Baker. The man has been known to use the aliases Sean Denning, Shawn Denning, Sean Dennis, Dave Freebard and Dennis Shawn. He is between 5 feet, 7 inches and 5 feet, 10 inches tall, about 135 pounds and between the ages of 44 and 55. He has gray hair and brown eyes. The man was last seen in Miles City on Aug. 20. Anyone with information is asked to call Baker Police at (406) 778-2151 or the FBI at (801) 579-1400.

The FBI and the Baker Police Department are seeking the public’s help in locating an "unknown" male suspect connected to the molestation of a 5-year-old Baker girl.

The suspect is believed to be between the ages of 44 and 55 and has several known aliases, including Sean Denning, Shawn Denning, Sean Dennis, Dave Freebard, Dennis Shawn, ChicagoSean," and "Dennis593," according to a news release from Patricia Speelman, spokesperson for the Salt Lake City Division of the FBI.

The suspect is described as a white male between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall and 120 to 150 pounds. He is also believed to have gray hair and brown eyes.

The suspect, who was last seen in Miles City on Aug. 20, has worked as a handyman and an administrator at an assisted care facility, the news release said.

According to the news release, the man has the words "Virginia" and "Crissy" or "Cristy" tattooed on his upper arm or biceps, a tattoo of a tiger on his chest and the word "Dad" on his upper arm or bicep. He is also reported to have a bump above his left eye, in which he claims a BB pellet is lodged.

The suspect also has one finger that was broken and now does not lay flat, the news release said.

The suspect has stated that the tattoos of "Virginia" and "Crissy" or "Cristy" refer to the name of his wife and 14-year-old daughter, who were killed by a drunken driver in 1992. He enjoys model airplanes and repairing bicycles and may have a southern accent, the news release said.

The suspect has been described as a "snappy" dresser, and many of his shirts were Seattle-themed tourist shirts, the news release said. He is also reportedly obsessed with gold jewelry and wears three gold rings on his fingers.

The suspect has reported being from Chicago and indicated he had lived in San Francisco, according to the news release. He has spoken about Oklahoma, Oregon, and Washington State. It is reported that the suspect likes to travel by bus and claims to be independently wealthy from selling three garages that repaired cars in Chicago.

Any information on the suspect can be reported to the FBI by calling 801-579-1400 or to the Baker Police Department at 778-2151.

I agree, very similar. Especialy if "Jimmy" (John Doe 27) images are distorted and stretched as I feel they are

They eyes, something in the eyes seems very dead on for these both being the same suspect IMO

My feeling exactly!

That's why I feel maybe this thread shouldn't be closed until we know for sure this cat's in custody.

Id'd or not is beside the point if the id is actually fake. Ya know?
 
Note Susp #12's hairstyle, how he seems to be hiding a receded hairline with the type of cut he has. Wish we had a good image of the back of his head so we cound see if there was a bald spot back there.

John Doe 27 has a balding spot at rear of his head.
 
the photo of sups #12 in what appears to be a vehicle with someone sitting on his lap who has been cropped ( :( ) out features him with close cut hair that is most similar to the hairstyle of John Doe 27

Found one!!! I think I even gave this link above but didn't notice this picture. Here's a pic of the back of John Doe #12's head. I don't see a bald spot. Could it be the way he combed his hair when he wore it longer that it maybe his a thinning spot? Ether that or he's not the same guy as #27.

Should we open another thread on Unknown Suspect John Doe #12 and delete these posts relating to him here, or just let it go?

It's amazing how fast the public will respond to an FBI/LE appeal for the identification of a unknown wanted person when some evidence such as real pictures are released.
 
not sure JG, that hair cut on Suspect #12 has a distinctly bad toupee look to it. Whether that is because its an attempt with haircut/style to obscure the thinning hairline and a bald spot of its a hairpiece I still think they may be one and the same dude.

Since several of us feel they may relate, starting a suspect #12 thread is probably a good idea but we will probaly want to take images about John Doe 27 over tot he new one for comparison.

That way if this thread gets closed because FBI states they have ID'd JD27, we will still be able to continue sluething susp #12 separately.

What do you guys all think?

New thread for Suspect #12? That is which way I am leaning.

Is it possible to clean the image of the man taking the bottom pic? I thought with todays technology that is something that can be done. Look at the reflection in his sunglasses. His left eye. Clearly a male taking the picture.
