FL FL - Adji Desir, 6, Immokalee, 10 Jan 2009 - #3

Thinking of dear little Adji. Heartfelt wishes and prayers go out to all who love him and miss him, that they continue to be strong and will some day find peace when Adji is returned to them and there can be resolution.

Adji, you have been missing for so long. I am not convinced that you are deceased. My gut is telling me that you are still alive somewhere and just have to be found.
Somebody knows something. You have not been forgotten.

Jiji, I send you love and wishes for peace. I hope you are found very soon. It has been way, way too long.

Checking in for any news on Adji - none to be found. He is lost and needs to come home.

I have never forgotten Adji and think of him every time I pass through Immokalee and see the FWV sign.

You would think that if he was dead, he would have been found by hunters, construction workers, transportation workers, etc. Or that by now someone would have talked. People always talk. I am usually a negative person, but I just feel that Adji is still alive somewhere.

This is one that will always haunt me. Poor baby...

It haunts me too. It is such a confusing case. I don't see a clear suspect or motive or scenario. He just disappeared? I don't get it at all.

Hi Adji!
I have been gone a while and finally was able to log back into the forum. This was my first stop, hoping to see some good news about you, or any news at all.
I know that someday we will find out what happened to you. I have grown up a lot in the past few years and I know that there are terrible people out there who do unspeakable things to the innocent. It could be that the migrant workers in your neighborhood were too afraid to talk about what they knew.
I want you to know I have never forgotten you. You have a special place in my heart and always will.
Love you.

Google Maps

Landscape seen from above. He lived in a rural community very close to what appears to be forest or swamps, But I dont see any large bodys of waters. He must've gone missing in that area but if the police searched well they must've found some clues. He can't have made it that far if he well victim to nature they shouldn't found a shoe or something atleast. Were there gators around? I really don't see him makimg it that far in that terrain anyway. His grandmother found out he was missing on 30 mins after she last saw him.

He was playing with other kids, didn't they see where he went? Abducted, accident? i feel like if he wantered away they should've found his body but it's not an area where alot of strangers would lure kids either. So if he was abducted there must be very few suspects. An accident is possible, lets assume another kid killed him by accident and that kids parent removed the body from the scene and disposed it but theymust have acted so fast since the grandmother started looking for him 30 mins after he vannished? Regardless I find this case pretty strange.

Looking at the map the everglades seems to be quite far away from where he went missing. The lake Trafford is 1 hour away by walking which is known for its gators. According to psychic/dreamer Brian Ladd he shouldve made it to the lake where he encountered a gator. Its possible I guess but it bothers me that no trace of him was found that's why I'm speculating he didn't made it out there in the first place.

I'm leaning towards that theory as well, that he never left the neighborhood. There are predators everywhere, and in a small village no one wants to be the one to tell/involve police/maybe involve immigration. I think that someone would have reported seeing a kid walking beside the highway. As broad as the physical search was, I believe that a body would have been found by now.

I live about 20 Miles away from where Adji disappeared. The area is quite rural. Lots of commercial farming, "ranches" and swamps. The weather can be very extreme Hot! and Wet! a body would decompose quickly. Having lived here nearly 20 years now and knowing the area he disappeared from, I would say that two scenarios are likely #1 he was abducted, murdered and disposed of. #2 he wandered off on his own and became lost. Nothing else makes sense to me.

Adji, Thinking of you this morning.

I wanted to respond to prior comments about this being a rural area with not a lot of strangers. It is correct that this area is rural. It is a farming community, made up of mostly migrant workers. It is well known that there are many illegal immigrants there. If someone wanted to hide in plain site, they could do it here without many questions asked. There is also a casino that attracts lots of visitors especially in the winter months. It is a mystery for certain.

This is very interesting. The fact that Adji has not been found in any form is unusual.

There is no way this little one "wandered off on his own and became lost". I think he was murdered and dismembered or fed to alligators. Poor little lad never had a chance.
