Does his family know of this?

I hadn’t heard about this, I’ll ask the private investigator that’s been helping my family if he can look into it, praying it’s not him either

Bryan Hasel
  • Orange County, Florida
  • Went Missing: November 2021
  • Status: Pending

Bryan “Vladek” Hasel’s father Steve holds a photo of the missing 23-year-old Marine.

People who knew 23-year-old Marine Bryan “Vladek” Hasel said he would smile at strangers on the street and help the homeless. But Hasel was struggling with his mental health, which his family believes could have something to do with his disappearance. There is a massive wooded area behind Hasel’s apartment complex, thick with trees and bushes, where his family thinks he may have gone.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said in December that there are no updates, but the case remains open and active. “Our detectives are still seeking information about his whereabouts and are following up on any tips that come in,” the sheriff’s office said in an email to NewsNation. “We want nothing more than to be able to find Vladek and bring answers to his family.”

Anyone with information about the disappearance of Bryan Hasel is urged to call the Orange County Sheriff’s Office at 407-836-4357.

Bryan Vladek Hasel. Still missing.

Bryan Vladek Hasel was adopted from a Russian orphanage when he was 5. He grew up in Florida and joined the Marines. He's the kind of guy who fed the homeless and smiled at everyone. But his dad says the trauma of his childhood haunted him. In November – he vanished in Orlando.

Human remains found today. Still an active investigation and no identity has been released yet. This appears to be near the area where Bryan was last seen.

Deputies said they responded to the 1200 block of North Alafaya Trail around 12:32 p.m. in reference to “discovered human remains.”

Was that red sandal found ever confirmed 100% to be his?

Also, I kind of feel like he went to that wooded area, and because of how difficult it is to traverse, he wasn’t found

"I kind of feel like he went to that wooded area"
[i.e. some way south of Foxtails].

Is there another possibility?
I'm not on Facebook so I can't view every comment
ever made there about this case. Thankfully, the
current viewable comment there informs me that
the particular Foxtails he was last sighted at is in
fact the one addressed as sited on 'Collegiate Way',
(with vehicluar entrance also via University Blvd).
The website that Bryan Vladek Hasel's relatives
have made is on an (ISP) WIX server that declines to
display its webpages to me, as it considers that
my 'Browser is no longer supported', so I can't view
all infomation or any comments there also.

...Has it been considered that directly south of
that particular Foxtails (and Wawa), there was a
construction site where a large building present in
May 2019 was then removed and a new 5 storey
apartment complex was built in its place which was
nearing completion by September 2022,
Google Maps
?
It would be interesting to know if construction
was ongoing at that site at the time that Bryan
Vladek Hasel went missing.

From the timeline here;
FL - FL - Bryan Vladek Hasel, 22, Orlando, 5 Nov 2021
"Saturday November 6th, 2021 7:11am
"Vladek arrives back at Foxtail."..."Vladek calmly left
when the officer asked and appeared to be walking
west toward Wawa convenience store."

If he purchased refreshment(s) at Wawa convenience
store, then decided to walk from that store back to
his residence, it's possible he may have tried to save
time by cutting across that construction site. Such
construction sites would usually have fencing around
them, but such fencing may consist of woven wire
mesh multiple panels bolted or thin wired together,
sometimes not too difficult to separate and squeeze
between such panels or go over the top of them.

It would also be interesting to know if the construction
method had metre deep footing trenches into which
concrete was to be poured or if it was multi-metres
deep augered circular holes which later may have a
joined circular steel rebar form lowered into them
and then have concrete poured into them.
If he fell into a metre deep trench, maybe he hit
his skull on its side and became unconscious, his
body then being covered by water in any such trench
bottom.
He was wearing a "black hoodie", the hoodie perhaps
appearing from above like a piece of building site
detritus to anyone looking down into the dark bottom
of any deep augered hole.

I don't recall these exact other case details, but there
was a similar case where a young fellow left a nightclub,
going in the direction of an ajoining construction site
and he was never been seen alive again, probably falling
down such a hole. There was also another case I'm
aware of, that happened in Melbourne, Australia, where
a worker fell down such a deep hole and died whilst the
called Metropolitan Fire Brigade bumbled about trying
to figure out the 'best' way to get him out of the hole
(that worker died not of asphyxiation from CO2 or body
compression, but rather drowning due to rising water
in the hole).

Sunrise was at 7:41 A.M. on Saturday 6th November
2021 in Orlando, FL, according to;
Sunrise and sunset times in Orlando, November 2021

Can someone who has a Google Maps sign-in capability
check to see if there is an overhead picture actually
taken in whichever months of 2021 and 2022 (current
2023 overhead picture may not have been actually
taken in 2023).
This may allow the relatives to determine whether
construction was in progress at that site in 2021, and
if so, then they may request police to make enquiries
as to the exact conditions at that site on 6th November
2021 (i.e. if there were trenches or deep holes, had
any such trenches or holes had steel rebar emplaced in
them yet, whether any such had bottoms hidden by
water
, etc.).

A correction to my immediately previous post - the
timeline cited above also states;
"Saturday November 6th, 2021
The officer notes the time of 08:26 am EST on the
trespass warning. It is presumed Vladek walked away
towards Wawa at approximately this time."

There appears to be a bit of uncertainty about this time,
perhaps the police officer may have recorded the trespass
warning time details a bit after Vladek had walked away,
but if this time is about the time Vladek walked away, this
would mean it was not as dark as I have suggested above.

One other point, however - to travel to and from Foxtails
from his residence, it's possible Vladek would normally
walk via the road that leads directly south from the
'4 Rivers Smokehouse',
Foxtail Coffee Co. · 12001 Collegiate Way, Orlando, FL 32817
which is a business situated between Foxtails and Wawa.
It occurs to me that (if and) after Vladek went to Wawa
and purchased refreshment(s) (maybe consuming them),
and then decided to head back to his residence, he
could have had a concern that if police were still at
Foxtails or if staff saw him walking (eastwards) through
the '4 Rivers Smokehouse' property to get onto that
aforementioned road, then police might approach him
and hassle him (it could appear to any police or staff
that he was thereby approaching back towards Foxtails).
So that is an additional reason why Vladek may have
short-cutted from Wawa through the construction site -
the desire to absolutely prevent any further chance of
any encounter with police or staff, by avoiding going
towards Foxtails altogether.

Bethany (sister,) a veterinary professional, used a massive expo over the weekend to try to get new leads.

27,000 people were in attendance at the VMX Conference, the world’s premiere veterinary expo, and Bethany distributed over 200 flyers with Bryan’s picture across the floor.

“I don’t believe he’s here in Florida,” she mentions. “Reaching out to all corners of this country is what it’s going to take.”

The family encourages anyone with information to contact the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit at 407-254-7000.

Bethany hopes that the collective efforts of the veterinary community may shed light on Bryan Vladek Hasel’s mysterious disappearance.

Catching up on old episodes of the Vanished and just heard Vladek's story. I'm sorry to see he's still missing. I'll drop the podcast link here in case anyone else following has missed it:
