Stephanie Hollingsworth: New video of missing mother releasedFlorida mom missing for 10 days 'vanished into thin air' after she left home with without her phone | Daily Mail Online

Police said that their search for Hollingsworth has so-far proved fruitless, with ‘Nothing. No leads at all,’ in her disappearance, now 10 days on.

‘What’s odd about this case is that there’s only been one sighting or one transaction at the Bank of America Friday. Outside of that, we’ve taken just about every avenue that we can to locate her or the vehicle,’ said Sergeant Detective Jeremy Millis to Click Orlando. ‘There has been absolutely no sightings of the vehicle since the Bank of America transaction.’

[..]

Scott Hollingsworth said it was unlike his wife, the mother of his three sons, to take off without her phone, a change of clothes, or word of where she was heading. He said she’d never abandon her children.

‘The fact that she just vanished in thin air just doesn’t make sense. We can say with a certain degree of certainty that she is endangered at this point,’ Scott said.

‘I’m asking for everybody’s help to do everything they can to find her,’ said Scott. ‘Understand that this woman... Stephanie, my wife of 25 years is in trouble and we need to get her back to her family, her children.

‘Stephanie... we are looking for you, your family loves you more than ever. We don’t know what’s going on but we’re going to find you.... just know that,’ he continued.

Fla. Mom with 'Heart of Gold' Vanishes Without a Trace, Was Last Seen Withdrawing $20 from ATM

Oct 5, 2020

Shortly after noon on September 25, Stephanie Hollingsworth left her home in the Orlando suburb of Belle Isle, Florida, to run some errands. She left her cell phone at home. She got into her silver Chevy Tahoe and swung by a bank drive-through, where she withdrew $20 in cash. She has not been seen since.

"We don't have any more information than that," her husband, Scott Hollingsworth, tells PEOPLE. "But she couldn't have made it far with only $20. She hasn't been seen, and the Tahoe hasn't been picked up on any intersection or toll road cameras."

Surveillance video from the bank does not seem to show anything out of the ordinary, and Hollingsworth does not appear to be in any distress in the footage. Her debit and credit cards have not been used since.

Hollingsworth, 50, works as a yoga instructor and has three sons, ages 21, 17, and 15. Her husband says she would never leave without telling people where she was going.

....

Surveillance video released by police Monday night shows Stephanie Hollingsworth inside the Walmart, and police said Tuesday that she purchased a bottle of vodka and a soda.

Police also said they know from the surveillance video that she left the store alone and got into her car alone.

Stephanie Hollingsworth’s husband, Scott Hollingsworth, said his wife has issues with alcohol and he wants the public to know that if she did end up under the influence, it likely left her in a position where she could have been very vulnerable to harm.

"She probably bought that and went and sat in a parking lot either right here, or near home, or somewhere very close to here, and that's why we think she was in a very vulnerable position and that's why we're asking everybody to continue to help, to help with our search,” Scott Hollingsworth said.

Where Is Stephanie Hollingsworth? Mom of 3 Has Battled Demons, But Vanishing Is Out of the Norm, Husband Says

“Grimm said he is using all local agencies, tracking down all video footage that is available, he has teams searching wooded areas as well as bodies of water, and aviation units and civilian drone pilots to assist in the search.”

“He said their two youngest were in school the day she disappeared, but said their oldest son was home from college and taking classes remotely. The family didn't have any special plans that da, and he and his son hadn't realized exactly when she left the house, but believe it may have been around 1-1:30 p.m., he said.”

“Stephanie has never gone away. She was home every night. She would never want to be away from her family; that is why I feel something happened beyond her control at a vulnerable moment. I feel she is in danger,” he said.

Stephanie is very active in the women’s ministry and many of the young girls looked up to her, Scott said, describing her as a person with “all heart” that people were just drawn too.

"Stephanie has an amazing glow about her," he said. "Everyone was magnetized by her. She was always so positive and gave everything she had to everyone."

Stephanie has battled alcohol addiction most of her life, and over the last few months, but her drinking seemed to escalate recently, he said.

“Stephanie has had a lifetime dealing with anxieties and depression, just dealing with life and using alcohol as a way to escape. She gave everything she had to everyone, but she had internal battles that were real,” he said. “I want to make this public and make people understand that it is so hard to get people to talk about this, since many feel it is taboo. The video shows she did buy some alcohol and I have no idea why she did that and I want people to just stay focused on finding her.”
