I just feel the need to post this on Lindsay's thread. There has been talk about this man just arrested he travels alot and is a photographer. It is a long shot but perhaps if we look a little further maybe there is something connected with Lindsay:

A possible suspect in a child abduction and sexual assault case in Cody, Wyoming, was arrested in Belgrade.

According to the Gallatin County Detention Center roster, Jesse Paul Speer is being held on a $2 million bond for law enforcement from the State of Wyoming. Gallatin County has not confirmed that Speer is the suspect, but he is the only person listed on the roster being held for Wyoming officials

Yes, I wonder where he waas when Lindsay disappeared...was my first thought, also...
 
Was this the vehicle which was never identified? The white Honda Ridgeline? I'm wondering about Speer too mysticrose. What was he driving in 2009?

There are photo's on his blog of the Palouse area, dated 2010, I think. I closed the window, maybe someone else can find them. Anyway, I wondered if maybe he had traveled through the McCleary area?

We can look through his photography blog, keep an eye out for anything either Olympic Peninsula or Washington coast wise - McCleary is a small town on the way to both those popular areas. Great locations for nature photographers.

The footage shows a man, accompanied by a young boy, walking into the gas station and later leaving, and also shows the newer-model white Honda Ridgeline truck the man was driving. Both the man and the boy could be important witnesses regarding the disappearance because they were in the vicinity when Lindsey went missing.

Please review the video clips. The man and boy may not be from McCleary. They could have simply been passing through on that evening. If you believe you recognize the man or boy or the vehicle shown please contact your nearest FBI office as soon as possible.

Since this is still up on the FBI site I assume they still need to talk with this man & boy.

:fence: We could do research on his website and grab the photo's before he has it shut down to find out where he was in 2009. I am going to do research, thank you.
 
Good resource for finding possible past snapshots of now disappeared websites:

Fill in Wayback Machine box and click - not all blogs etc. are archived but many are. Even if current site being researched hasn't disappeared - might be worth checking to see if there are past versions available. Especially since we're looking for 2009.

FWIW- Israel Keyes has four victims in WA State. Wondering if one of them could be Lindsey?

I haven't heard about this guy back here in Boston. Do you have a pointer?
 
Keyes also told investigators in Alaska that he killed four people in Washington, but names and details are lacking, according to an FBI news release. He said he killed two people in separate incidents sometime in 2005 or 2006, and then "murdered a couple" in the state between 2001 and 2005.

The dates he gave investigators don't match for Lindsey, but he was so active and traveled so widely, wonder what ultimately will be found out.
