Circumstances of Discovery
The victim's skeletal remains were discovered in a wooded area by Interstate 16 in Bloomingdale, GA in March 1989.

There were 22 rounds from a .38 caliber gun (requiring the weapon to be reloaded three times) in a circular pattern around the remains, leading investigators to believe the murder was "personal." One bullet had shattered one of her kneecaps. Her official cause of death remains undetermined, but the case is considered as a homicide.

She is not believed to be from the local area.

Her age is listed as 40's or 50's on her GBI page

I’d say this was very personal.
