*Trial Continues (Day 2) (re Tara’s Case) (@ 9am ET) - GA - Tara Faye Grinstead (29) (Oct. 22, 2005, Ocilla) - *Bo Dukes (32/21 @ time of crime) arrested & charged (3/3/17) with concealing a death, hindering the apprehension of a criminal & giving false statements. Released on $16,700 bond on 3/3/17 afternoon; waived right to his first hearing. Violated his bond, back in jail.
Wilcox County Dukes has not been charged with murder.
Trial started 3/18/19. 7 women and 5 men (including 3 alternates/1 woman & 2 men). Breakdown of the 12 jurors: 3 black females, 4 white females, 1 black male, 4 white males.

3/18/19 Jury Selection Day 1: 91 potential jurors in the Wilcox County courtroom. Out of these 91, lawyers hope to chose the 12 jurors. A jury has selected: 7 women and 5 men (including 3 alternates/1 woman & 2 men). Breakdown of the 12 jurors: 3 black females, 4 white females, 1 black male, 4 white males. Jurors have been given instructions & sworn in. The jury is not present at this hearing. This is to determine if the prosecution can mention Dukes' statements to police in their opening statement. State witnesses: Special Agent Jason Shoudel (GBI). Logan Holland (GBI). Open statements done. State witnesses: Kim Sheridan, mother of Dukes girlfriend (Ashley). Trial continues on 3/19.

John McCullough just took the stand in the #BoDukes trial. He was stationed with Dukes at Ft. Sill, OK. McCollough claims in 2006, Dukes told him “1200 degrees would burn human bones.” McCullough eventually told the GBI this years later. #TaraGrinstead

In the #BoDukesTrial, Chief of Police Hancock said he arrived to #taragrinstead house. While searching inside, he did not find anything suspicious. However, noticed a latex glove just feet from Tara’s front door. He then called his detective sergeant to the scene.

Does anyone know how long they expect the trial to take?
 
IMO, I think that Bo Dukes murdered Tara with Ryan being the one who helped with the coverup. There is no way that Bo Dukes, the one who had the rich and powerful family, would go help Ryan to cover up this crime and bury the remains on his family's pecan farm.

To me, common Bo Dukes was a big fish in a small pond. I'm sure everyone knew that he had connections in town. Therefore, he held the upper hand in most situations.

That's why I do not believe that he would help an unconnected, lower income person like Ryan. I do believe that Ryan would help him, though.

I wouldn't put anything past Bo, to include staging the scene to frame Ryan, if push came to shove.

I sure hope that the book is thrown at Bo and that Ryan is given a fair trial.
