Found Deceased IL - Anthony Schollian, 35, left work, Rockford, 19 Oct 2021

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) - The search is still on for an unusual disappearance. 35-year-old Anthony Schollian has not been seen since Tuesday. Loved ones are desperate for answers.

October 19 was the last day Schollian was seen. He was leaving work and then vanished.

Anthony’s friend Stephanie Pearson says, “He disappeared about 3:45 p.m. after work, he got in his car and left. He has absolutely nothing. He has no coat, just the clothes on his back and his car. He just he never showed up for home and never showed up home.”

He also didn’t attend Sunday services at City First Church where he served as a mentor. Friends say that’s very unlike him.

Pearson says, “It’s very odd for him not to show up to church or small groups. He was a mentor for at about 14 or 15 guys at a time and is very odd for him not to reach out to somebody.”

His inactivity on social media or on his cell phone also leaves his friends puzzled. Just an hour before he disappeared, he chattered with Pearson. She didn’t notice anything strange with the conversation. She says, “All day that whole day, I talked to him. Other people talked to him. It was nothing out of the ordinary it was just a normal day.”

Pearson and others are taking his silence to Facebook hoping it will make some noise about his whereabouts. Or remind him they are here for support no matter what his situation may be.

IMO, sounds like there may have been an accident, driving into a ditch, body of water, or wooded area that hasn’t been discovered yet.

He had a warrant out for his arrest in 2019 for failure to comply with the conditions of bond (Illinois
725 ILCS 5.0/110-3) SCHOLLIAN, ANTHONY WILLIAM Inmate 17787738: Cook County Jail in Chicago, IL That could have been something as simple as a DUI, I couldn't find any court records. No other history on him outside of social media. Hope he is found soon.

Knox had the common one - driving with a suspended license. In Illinois, the following are other conditions of a DUI probation can be:
Participation in courses that outline the dangers of alcohol and drug abuse and/or therapy or counseling that is meant for improving psychological health
Submitting to random drug tests and weekly meetings with a probation officer
Not being allowed to leave the city or state in which you reside
Avoiding those who might encourage criminal behavior
Not being arrested for any crime

Any ideas on what "work" he actually left before he disappeared? That link states he quit his job a week before he disappeared, so where was he last seen?

It is with heavy hearts that we announce Anthony Schollian, 35 years old, has been found and is no longer with us. Our deepest sympathies and condolences go out to his family and friends as they grieve the loss of a bright light in their lives. While he is no longer with them here on earth, we know his spirit will remain in their hearts through all of the joyous memories that were created from love and laughter over the years.
