I just noticed that in the WMPD logs for the night of 5/5/93, it says the call to Officer Meek regarding the Bojangles man came in at 8:40 PM, which would've been over 30 minutes after the first report of the three missing boys. According to the logs, Meek arrived at Bojangles at 8:50 PM and was there until 9:00 PM. At 9:01 PM Meek got the call about the egged house on 1004 Roy Pugh

But in the testimony of Marty King (Bojangles manager,) he says that the Bojangles man came into the store between 9-9:30 PM. He specifically says that it was 30 minutes before closing time when a customer alerted him about the man in the bathroom, and that the man left 15-20 minutes after King talked to him.

So which time is the correct one? I'm more inclined to believe King because he specifically mentioned that the man entered 30 minutes before closing time.

Here's an image of the WMPD police log for that night and a timeline of events on jivepuppi

You're going to find these type of inaccuracies everywhere in this case, just be forewarned. It's extremely frustrating.
