Dateline now following !!

Today is Kayla Decker’s 36th birthday. She should be celebrating with her loved ones, however she has not been seen since December 18, 2022.

Kayla has three young boys, all of whom have been without their mother for nearly 10 months. Kayla also has Lupus and left behind both her cane and her medication.

According to Detective Michael Waggener of the Kentucky State Police Department, Kayla was last seen on December 18, 2022, in Bee Spring, Kentucky.

From the article above "And while she had a big group of friends, according to Det. Waggener, Kayla and her family did not have a close relationship. “She wasn’t close with her family,” Det. Waggener said. He explained that Kayla’s husband had an ongoing criminal case against him and that their children had been put into foster care, “which is why she had a social worker.”

The husband's name is listed in the article, and if you check that you'll find his DV charges in the criminal case and "which is why she had a social worker". Ugh. Hate to say where I think this is going to go again. Big thanks to her friends for trying to keep this investigation open.

BBM
I hate to think it also.
It is sad that we can read articles and pretty much ( not always, but most times) know where this is going.
I second your "UGH". :(

Thank you for the last locations addresses. Although she was last seen away from home, there's a possibility that she vanished from her home.

Did she work? Did they have workshops on their property?

There's a gully behind her house. Has that been checked? It seems like an obvious place to have a mishap, staged or otherwise. That would be too easy.

After 8 months, it's unlikely that she's alive. Question is where did she go after she was last seen, who was she with, did she live alone and no one noticed that she disappeared? Did she live with a partner who did not report her missing?

Does anyone have a link to any criminal complaints that Kayla has made in the last 5 years? It seems like such a perfect disappearance that I wonder whether there was some planning involved.
