LA LA - Port Allen, WhtFem 24-33, UP1872, under rock pile, long, dark brown hair, jewelry, Feb'85

A long shot here, but the UID could be Sandra Faye Thompson (nee Norman), missing from
Jacksonville, Florida.

http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/n/norman_sandra.html

The main reason I'm suggesting this match is due to the fact that Interstate 10 (which begins in Jacksonville) passes right through Port Allen, Louisiana. The hair, general face structure and height and weight match, but unfortunately there are very few details available in the MP's case file.

MP Sandra makes me :banghead: the family will not provide DNA ... see is a potential here and on many cases

I-10 is a notorious highway main corridor west to east ... east to west ... I even was pulled over once driving back from Houston was not speeding driving normal the LE said he pulled me over because I was tailgating ... in which there was a car length ahead of me .. by the end come to find out LE thought I was a drug trafficker their was a tip on a black SUV ... further down the road I counted for @ an hour 12 cars pulled over all were black ..

Researching the jewelry ....

RING # 2 - It appears to me that it could be a 2 stone promise ring.
Located a turquoise that was similar however to my eyes JD's ring has diamond like stones
Located a delicate promise ring that is from the 1980's this looks more like JD's ring

Researching medical reason for abnormal ribs - right third rib was bifurcated

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bifid_rib

It is not common and normally accidently found by X-rays, interesting note the highest percentage of occurrence in ethic cultures is Samoans

Bifid Rib.JPG

She does seem of dark complexion I would initially believe to be Creole or Spanish (Spain not Mexico) which is common in Louisiana

More medical research, I'm by no way a medical doctor just trying to pull out as many potential clues as possible.

BRJD had a Palatine torus

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torus_palatinus

Palatal tori are more common in Asian, Native American and Inuit populations (Eskimo), and twice more common in females. In the United States, the prevalence is 20% - 35% of the population with similar findings between blacks and whites.

http://mandibulartori.com/2013/06/maxillarypalatal-tori-removal-causes.html

Palatal tori are bony growths on the hard palate that increase in size with age, hereditary. Causes of torus Palatinus are yet to be determined, but some scientists believe it could be due to genetics. Mandibular Tori is an anamoly that occurs in about 10% of the population, and is seen mainly in Asians, Native Americans, and Eskimos. Medical research has also shown that the growths are more common in women than in men. In men’s growth, however, the growth slows as one grows older, due to bone resorptio

Did what I knew how to do, to clear up the Jewelry photo some

IMO based upon the medical abnormal traits, believe BRJD was of ethnic descent whether a mild trace or somewhat more there is a common thread of a native trait.

Dental; BRJD had inexpensive dental work

Amalgam fillings - http://www.fda.gov/MedicalDevices/P...es/DentalProducts/DentalAmalgam/ucm171094.htm
Dental amalgam is the least expensive type of filling material.

Woman's Identity still a mystery - 6/5/85
-- Interesting comment; their are similarities between BRJD and Green River all the women were found buried under stones.
-- IMO don't believe its connected to GR, all thou there is a gap between victims 2/84 - 10/86

Has Sandra Norman's family stated *why* they won't submit DNA?

Has Sandra Norman's family stated *why* they won't submit DNA?

Unsure of the reason going back to find where the statement was in regards to the family not providing DNA

-from the Sandra Norman thread

family wasn't cooperating with attempts to obtain familial DNA.

Could be a few different reasons, maybe to let "dead dogs lie" and they cleared themselves of any desire to know what happened to her or maybe something else that is and underlining motive

See Post # 137 - 139 - LA - Slidell Jane Doe she is also the JD in my profile picture and signature below...

LSU Faces contacted relatives to acquire a DNA sample to rule out LPJD she is on my radar as well as many others as a potential match to Sandra.

Looks very similar to me. This is close enough that I would turn it in if I were you.

Btw, don't Donna's circumstances sound like a Robinson case?

I agree. I think she should be turned in, too.It looks like Donna's DNA profile is maybe stuck in initial inquiry? Her case was put into NamUs in 2008, so hard telling how long the status has been like that and if it's been compared to any UIDs yet.
On a side note, was the car she was using never found? On her CP page, it gives the lic. plate number but doesn't state the car was ever found: http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/k/kingston_donna.html
I looked for a thread for Donna on WS couldn't find one at first glance.

Have been searching however thus far nothing has come back as to the car ever being found. There is very little information on Donna as well have found a couple of other boards that mention her but nothing with a lot of details.

KaylaraOwl I know your good at this ... some of the features do not hit me just right however the nose is pulling me in along with
the timeline of her disappearance along with hair coloring.

I'm looking at the over all head shape along with the space between the features. it's not exact, but pretty close overall. It doesn't hurt to have her ruled in or out.

Came across another article from Aug 17, 1998 was reading about Mary at LSU and next to her article was one about BR Jane Doe..

Mary made a few comments News - 081788.JPG

Mary calls her EG - Enigma
25 - 26 years old, average height, she was small boned and probably petite, likely from a middle class family and she had good dental care. She also noted that her hair was still intact and was brown.
