Janine Callahan who left her home to walk to work on November 9, 1985. Her remains were discovered a month later on December 8, 1985 at the end of a dirt road, now known as Cherry Farm in Burrillville, Rhode Island.

Here's a link from a RI TV station: Detective seeking closure for family of woman killed in 1985

She was a long way from Natick. Burrillville is still very rural. There are no highway connections from Natick to Burrillville. As a former Rhode Islander, I'd note that Burrillville isn't that easy to get to from the more populated areas of the state. There aren't any major highways to Burrillville; approaches are via 2 lane roads. The perpetrator is likely to be someone from - or very familiar with -the Burrillville area, counting on the rural landscape to prevent discovery of the body.
