Loved ones form search parties for missing Waterford man Creg Lyles (fox2detroit.com)
[...]

"He kept in contact with his family every day - he was actually the glue to his family," said SD, the victim's aunt.

A pair of bloody boots was found and given to police after days of searching around The River's Edge Apartments where he lived.

Canine officers were brought in to search, but no Creg.

Sources close to the situation say that a man was brought into custody, in connection to Creg's disappearance - held on a parole violation, for now.

Investigators aren't confirming much of anything.

Dozens join search party to find missing man in Oakland County, $1,000 reward offered

Not a whole lot to go on regarding this man. No idea if he has a car, a job, what the circumstances are surrounding his disappearance. Very frustrating.
From the article:
  • Creg is 5′5″ tall and 180 pounds with brown eyes.
  • There is a $1,000 reward ifor information regarding his disappearance.
  • Anyone with information is asked to contact Waterford Township Department at 248-618-6041.
  • Anonymous tips can be submitted at 248-674-COPS.

Has anyone seen or heard updates on Creg Lyles? Presumably, he's still missing. I live in Oakland County (where Creg lives) and haven't seen or heard any local news about this case for weeks.

Not sure if this was posted previously, but this appears to be Creg's Twitter account. He joined in 2010 but there have been no entries since 2014. Creg Lyles (@Ceelyles) / Twitter
