I’ve been checking today to see if there is any news anywhere on the start of this trial. Have found zippo, nada! Following.. and I just can’t figure why this case has taken so very long to get to court. Is it so people will forget? Sigh..

The only other crime that I remember taking this long was the Curtis Reeves “popcorn murder trial”. News reports said the trial's eight-year delay came as a result of various motions, pretrial hearings and the Covid-19 pandemic
 
I tried searching for this trial - but of course coming up with Nada... Not too sure if jury selection is done. Once I find out - I will correct my notes.

The most cryptic trial ever was Theo Krah!!!! I still don't think we know the sentence. He was a navy seal.

LIBERTY, Mo. — A jury convicts a Kearney mother in connection with the deaths of her two daughters.

Jenna Boedecker was found guilty of two counts of second-degree murder, four counts of child endangerment, one count of fourth-degree domestic assault and one count of first-degree property damage.

Jurors did not convict Boedecker of one count of armed criminal action related to the case.

Boedecker was indicted in January 2019.

I keep seeing 2019 deaths, but in fact that happened in 2018. July. Right after the fourth if I remember correctly. Or am I remembering incorrectly? Almost five years. Wow! Still very sad. I bet they remember every single day (family et al. )

Boedecker told authorities she and her two daughters fell asleep in her Jeep outside their Clay County home on July 3, 2018.

She woke up on the morning of July 4 to find the children, ages two and eight weeks, unresponsive.
