Wednesday, April 17th:
*Sentencing Hearing & Motions (after trial) Hearing (@ 9:30m CT) - MO - Mason Roskop (18) & Mitchell Andrew Raines (21) found deceased with multiple gunshot wounds in a gravel parking lot in the area of Artesian Park near the Rogers Street entrance on July 17, 2022 in Clinton. *Airic Norman Brauer (19/now 20) arrested & charged (7/18/22) & arraigned (7/19/22) & re-arraigned (9/8/22) with 2nd degree murder & felony armed criminal action. Plead not guilty. No bond. Bond reduction denied (8/12/22). Bond modification (10/28/22) for murder: $350K & felony armed: $250K Cash/Surety bond.
Trial began on 1/4/24 & ended 1/12/24 – State rested their case on 1/11/24 & defense rested their case on 1/12/24.
Brauer was found guilty of both charges.
Judge M. Brandon Baker presiding. Prosecutor L. Gray & defense attorney Harold Trull.

n January, Brauer was found guilty by a jury for voluntary manslaughter and armed criminal action. He was sentenced to 10 years for the voluntary manslaughter charge and 6 years for the armed criminal action charge.
