I met him once, it was in the late 80's in Bradenton. He was performing at a club.

Until today when I was reading some news articles, I'd forgotten (or maybe didn't even know) that The Monkees won the Emmy for best comedy series.

He was so darling. I watched the Monkees in my teens, and when my daughter came along, she fell in love with Davy in syndication when she was six years. He was her first celeb crush, and I really loved watching with her. We are both very sad today.

Oh... how the memories are flooding back. I personally would like to add David Cassidy to the list. My bedroom walls were covered with their pic's. Such good and innocent memories.:blushing:
