Police hope new publicity may finally solve a 1985 missing person case.

Benjamin Staton disappeared from his home on Skinner Street in Greenville back in February 1985. He was 82 years old at the time. If still alive he would be 103 today.

Despite media reports about him at the time, no further information about the man ever surfaced.

Now Greenville police hope a renewed effort may give Staton's relatives some closure.

Staton suffered from dementia and foul play is not suspected.
