With all these name changes and hiding for decades...for all of them, Leonie/Aileen/Nicole and Avantae/Ava/Avantee/Kavante Adams/Maxwell/Deven etc etc.

Who are these people? Really? Seems like they change their names every couple of years. How on earth was someone who doesn't exist allowed to adopt at least three children?

ABC11 reached out to Avantae Deven for comment, but she has not responded. Meanwhile, the next court appearance for Maxwell’s protection order is scheduled for May 9.

Perhaps I was mistaken.

A similar episode was of a 4 year old boy in Sampson, NC.

There are a couple of cases out there that if the persons or places names had not been mentioned, I would totally think they were the same case. The Chillicothe 6 and the Jefferson Parrish 8, Liz Barraza and Mo Wilson, Cherie Nicole Barnes and Deborah Sanders.
