This one doesn't show on NamUs as being ruled out for Stuart or anyone else so there is a possibility I think that it could be him. Stuart worked as a cook at a hotel I wonder if that would have required him to be so dressed up then?

Too many leaps here to be worth submitting, BUT I found this Stuart Carlson, who is the right age and went to high-school in Manchester, CT. Without a middle initial, it's hard to be confident that this is the right guy, but the other Stuart Carlsons I can find who are the right age are from Missouri, South Dakota, and California, so I lean towards this guy being most likely. Anyway, if he *is* the right guy, I think he looks quite a bit like this John Doe, found in Quinton Township, NJ in May 1979 with an estimated DOD of winter 78-79. I just would like to confirm that my picture is of the right Stuart.

How strange, it sounds like he never actually left the hotel!

He is listed as endangered missing, woukd that suggest there is some evidence of foul play?
I wonder if he was associating with the wrong kinds of people. Was Atlantic City associated with criminals? Love to know what the hotel was.
