When I did a reverse check on MP's phonenumber on veromi.net, and I´m sure it IS his number because I found a Michael selling Chihuahua puppets with this number, the number is listed to two elder people with the last name Meyer located in West Babylon, and their address is located 0.6 miles north/west of Amber Lynn Costello's house. This Meyer family has a bizz Meyer Plastering Inc.

Great find! I googled the nym and found a youtube profile with chiuauas but not sure if that is him. Also found a twitter but that has a different breed of dogs.

The tollfree number 888-731-9645 is apparently a common phonenumber for
Kentucky Fried Chicken and Taco Bell, so due to that she made those 4 calls from 6:56 pm to 6:59 pm, dinnertime, I guess she called and ordered some food, 3 first calls, each 1 minute, the phone was occupied, and 4th call, a 3 minute call, she got through and ordered food, OR she knew somone who worked at one of those bizz?

Thanks to PickleChris and everyone who keeps reading, searching, and remembering these victims! I am really frustrated that we have heard no further information about the unidentified bodies and/or body parts. Why have we not heard any updated information about these people? At the very least, we should have heard how long they had been there. It is time for new information and hopefully, for some answers.

Ah, okay, so that is him. And I agree. That is prolly his mug shot from the texas conviction. Btw, he has a myspace as well... with a vid of him playing golf (I use pipl. lol)

As for the numbers? (and I know you weren't asking me) I could see him changing out his number after Shannan went missing. I think they cycle out after 6 months. Either way, excluding the CVS and taco bell toll free numbers, the rest are cell phone numbers.

I find it horrifying that Shannon Gilbert watched "A Nightmare on Elm street" between 8-9:30pm that evening of April 30, 2010, and 7 hours later she found herself in the middle of a tru nightmare herself :sick:

I had no idea she was at the movies, Foreigner...just another crazy making coincidence? or could she have been with her killer at this movie somehow. It's not the kind of movie one would generally go to alone...especially most girls I know or have known....just because it's more fun to talk about the scary parts after....and to freak out together.

Concerning the silence;
I belive and hope they know who the killer is, and that they are investigating and monitors him with all means. The silence IMO is to make him belive he is under their radar, in hope he will comit a mistake. They need solid prof in court!

In the News 12 video, it shows, for only a second, Shannan's phone bill and the numbers aren't blocked out too well. I think I have figured out MP's info but I am curious about the Toll Free number she called, in the beginning of the night. I can't make out the numbers. If someone else is interested and good at this sort of stuff, I'd like to see what you come up with.

Well, googling (MP's?) number, I found that someone wrote a comment about that number. It said "Good body, but her description of herself as refined and upscale is a joke. Nasty fake blonde hair."
To me, it seems like MP was advertising with his number? for Shannan? I don't know.
The person who wrote this comment also wrote a comment about another phone number saying that their pic is fake.

I know these places very well since I used to live over there. The Best Western (if I remember right) is on Sunrise highway and does not look like a seedy hotel. When people would visit the area (family, etc) they would stay there. It's pretty nice and not one of those hourly joints. The town would not stand for stuff like that in that area.

The Budget Inn..Carmen Mill Road. This place is shady. From what I can see it's one of those hourly places and Nassau County cop cars are always within a block or two of it. Let it be known that it is in East Massapequa, a few blocks from Amityville. Most people who live in Massapequa or Massapequa Park do not even consider that area part of Massapequa.

Ok, here's where I step in with an IMO...There are several crappy hotels/motels in a 10 minute drive from either of those listed. The Pines, Hollywood Motel, Sky Motel, Sayonara...Etc. These are all those 3 hour for a fixed price/cheat on your wife spots. With that being said the Budget Inn fits the same category as those listed. The Best Western does not...What does get me and is a big clue that needs researching is the Massapequa part. Both hotels are a stones through from the train tracks. From the Massapequa Park LIRR (train station)you have about a 10 minute walk to the Best Western. From Amityville LIRR it would be a 15 minute walk to the Budget Inn. The other Seedy hotels in the 10 mile radius are not near train stations. (walking distance).

If anyone has time, this might be of interest. Lady Juliettes Escorts. Massapequa NY. - Found that when snooping around for info on those hotels.

Its hard to type the series of events that I think might have happened either the night these girl went missing or in the days to follow. I will draw up something over a map and post it this week.

he most certainly enjoys the attention on some level...maybe they feel he will become more isolated and paranoid if he doesn't have a clue where thay are hiding...and this will cause him to behave differently or change his MO.

i don't see any incoming calls on Shannan's phone records on 4/30 or 5/1 from MP, other than the calls at 3am and 313am. so this alone does not support MP getting the call from JB to go to Oak Beach with SG, because I would think that MP would call SG if he received the call from JB. it still could be true, but i have a hard time making it fit based on this alone.

SG must have had another phone, i'd guess an untraceable "burn" phone, that must have received the call to go to OB that night. while its true MP could have contacted her on that phone, SG and MP clearly did communicate frequently on this particular phone during the coarse of doing business.

if she did not have another phone, JB could have contacted Alex Diaz. or he contacted her in advance of 4/30. at any rate, it looks to me she knew she needed a ride to oak beach around 10pm.

The calls to Diaz were to a metro pcs number out of Newark. I know because I was trying to look up the toll free number and checked AD's number by mistake. Trying to figure out the toll free call now.

ETA: Apparently, Shannan ate at Taco Bell and called the number on the back of the reciept.

For anyone who watched the news12 special, (and I'm looking for verification on this) I think the news12 interview with Hackett in the car revealed another lie. It is the same interview that has been around for a long time but they played more of the interview; specifically they aired a statement that came before the "I never saw her" statement. He says, "I returned some calls".
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't his original statement "I never called them".
The news12 anchor in the special later goes on to say that Hackett said "he never called them". If that is the case, and I think it is, then his statements evolved like this...

1. "I never called them"
2. "I returned some calls"
3. "I called them, but i was requested to and I didn't say that I treated her"

If he did in fact say statement 1, then that turned out to be a lie.

From his letter to 48 hours, we know that statement 2 is a lie (they didn't call him first, hence he did not "return some calls".

Past behavior is not a perfect predictor of the future, but I'm inclined to believe that we will find out that statement 3 contains a lie as well. ... The truth is coming out in the wash

Once we verify statement 1, we will have 3 statements, enough to detect a pattern. To me the pattern reveals that initially he didn't want us to know he called them at all, then he had to acknowledge that he called them but doesn't want us to know that he initiated the calls. Finally, he arrives at having to say he initiated the phone calls "but only after Pak and Diaz requested", as per 48hrs letter.

Why is it so important to him that he didn't call? Why is it so important that we think he didn't initiate the calls? Why does he now want us to believe that he only initiated because someone asked?

If "he called to help", it wouldn't have ever mattered if he called, or if he initiated the calls out of the blue, or if he initiated the calls after being asked to call...

a web of lies always gets sticky .... he's looking tangled up to me.

If we are to believe CPH's new and improved alibi, he must have met Pak and diaz sometime between May 3rd and May 5th. (If anyone can find Pak or Diaz's version of the events, I would like to know what day they say they went to Oak beach to look)

So if CPH met Pak and Diaz on Mon, Tue or even Wed, that still isn't something that should be described as "until about a week after she was reported missing" because she went missing on Sat and wasn't reported missing until much later when her family filed the missing persons report.

I found it interesting that the one article does not refer to this second man as "the drifter." For me, this verifies that there WAS, in fact, at least one other man at JB's house that night and it wasn't MP. That man, this drifter, whoever he is, is a definite suspect IMO. Especially knowing he had a thing for strippers/escorts himself. I don't know where everyone's thoughts are about JB, but IMO, his buddy should be looked at.
Never another word in the news about him? He contacted his mother after Shannan's disappearance?

He, IMO, can be the link between SG and the other 4 women found if these cases are connected.

Finally!!!! I watched the 48 hrs episode. I am more convinced than ever that cph has knowledge about whatever happened to Shannan. How in the world did he get Shannan's sisters number? Considering the fact that the SK called Melissa' sister, I think it is hinky scary! The other girls bodies had not been discovered yet so this tidbit about the calls to Amanda wasn't publicized at that point.

I don't like saying this at all, but I don't think Shannan ever left Oak Beach alive. It was too much a risk for the killer to dispose of her along with the other ladies at Gilgo due to the ruckus Shannan caused that night and others were looking for her. I think cph didn't call Shannan's family to offer help. I think he called to glean information about the investigation from the family under false pretences, ie the alleged clinic where he tried to 'help' SG. I just don't see why the family would make this up?

Then there's his admitted cross country trip. Then the blantant lies...he called SG's family...he didn't call SG's family....the bf and driver 'asked' him to call SG's mom....he actually made 2 calls, one to her mom and one to her sister. The everchanging story is disturbing.

It is well known that SK's read and collect newspaper articles on their crimes and the investigation. They do this to both revel in their accomplishments and follow the investigation, determine what the authorities know about them, not get caught, etc.

So what if a SK lives at home with his family, has a wife and kids, and doesn't have a private/safe place to keep such materials?

He could revel in his accomplishments and glean info about the investigation by calling the victims families under false pretenses; pretending to be SCPD, pretending to run a rehab, offering help in finding the missing person, etc.
