OKMULGEE COUNTY (KFOR) – Oklahoma is now seeking the death penalty against a criminal defense attorney who fell in love with her client. It’s a tangled tale of a love-triangle turned deadly that KFOR has been covering for years.

New Okmulgee County documents show state prosecutors believe Barry Titus and his Oklahoma City attorney-turned-lover, Keegan Harroz, “should be punished by Death (sic)” for the murder of Titus’s ex-girlfriend, Tiffany Eichor, and her parents, Jack and Evelynn Chandler.

Before the volatile love triangle was ever formed, Eichor accused 40-year-old Titus of threatening her family. She also had a pending domestic abuse case against him. Representing Titus was 38-year-old attorney Harroz.

Early on a September morning in 2019, investigators said two masked suspects were seen on security cameras outside the rural home in Beggs. Minutes later, the electricity was cut. Reports say while the family was fast asleep, Titus and Harroz kicked in the door and shot them to death one by one.

New court documents show what investigators were looking for when they raided the home of an Oklahoma City attorney for a second time.

The murder mystery could be coming down to a footprint.

Investigators went back inside Harroz’s home last week to get a pair of boots.

Officers believe they could match a footprint from the murder scene.

They also seized another cell phone that was not at Harroz’s home the last time they raided it.

what an evil duo. That poor family. What is with her left eye, is that a blackeye, it surely can't just be cockeyed eyeliner on just the one eye, looks swollen or maybe some bruising? Jmo.

I think it is misused concealer. JMO.

“She was smart and effective. Judges respected her,” says her ex-boyfriend and former law partner, David Bedford.

But she also had brushes with law enforcement.

In May of that year, she was charged with assault and battery on a police officer and the domestic assault of her then-husband, Nicholas Harroz, who later told an investigator that he was kicked in the face twice.

“The reporting officer documented that the [victim] had blood on his left ear, swollen lumps on his face, and abrasions to his forehead, cheek, and bridge of his nose,” states a probable cause affidavit. (The charges against Harroz were later dropped.)

In the fall of 2018, Harroz began representing Barry Titus II, a former crane operator who owned a dent repair shop, on drug and firearm charges.

The up and coming lawyer also began representing him on domestic assault and battery charges, which were tied to a restraining order obtained against him by his ex-girlfriend Tiffany Eichor, whom he allegedly beat and attempted to strangle in Nov. 2017.

Harroz, 38, and Titus, 40, both face three counts of deliberate and intentional first-degree murder and one count of first-degree burglary, according to Law & Crime. They have pleaded not guilty of the murder and burglary charges. Oklahoma is seeking the death penalty in the case for both alleged murderers.

Both alleged killers had a history of violence. Back in 2014, Harroz had been accused of domestic assault against her then-husband. Titus had been arrested for domestic assault and battery against Eichor in 2018.

Tiffany Eichor is remembered as a fun-loving person who loved her Star Wars R2-D2 slippers. Her former colleague Debbie Deery told PEOPLE, “She was just a good person. Not a mean bone in her body. Everybody liked her.” Tiffany’s parents, Jack and Evelynn “Kaye”, were married for a long time and enjoyed going on yearly cruises together.

Harroz and Titus are behind bars, and their death penalty trial is expected in later 2024.
