Identified! OK - Kiowa County, WhtFem, 569UFOK, 18-29, Jul'05 - Rebecca Jean Boyd

Has anyone else noticed the large amount of missing women and unidentified bodies in OK? I just find it very strange since I am from there. Sure there are bigger towns and cities like OKC and Tulsa, but a lot of the bodies are found off I-40 and in wooded areas that aren't heavily populated, it seems.

I wonder if there are one or more serial killers at work...

You are right-there do seem to be a lot. There also seem to be a lot of people, especially teens, disappearing from Nebraska.

Does anyone know if Carla Beth Anderson was checked as a possible match? If not, what do you think?

Pictures L-R Carla Beth Anderson, and UID7246

Small petite frame. Growth retardation. 4'10" - 5' tall. 80 lbs.
Long, thin hands.
Overbite.
Mild mental retardation.
Disappeared from her home in Wadena, MN at age 23 on November 13, 1987.
Serial killer Floyd Todd Tapson, who preyed on mentally challenged women, was suspected in her disappearance, but was cleared by investigators.

MN - MN - Carla Anderson, 23, Wadena, 13 Nov 1987

One more exclusion: Joann Rozelle, from Oklahoma The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

I don't think they changed the color of her hair; I think they're giving two different possible looks, since they don't know what color her hair was. Also, I'm pretty sure they didn't find the lower jaw, though the upper jaw indicates an overbite, so the lower part of her face might not be terribly accurate.

They do suggest she might be of slight build. I think Anderson is an excellent possibility.

Thoughts on this comparison with a case that's just been updated in Namus for Mary Domebo?

Mary went missing from Ft Worth, TX in 1985 (remains found 2005 with PMI up to 20 years).
Mary was from OK and her sister wanted her to return there (remains found in OK).
Mary had dark hair/auburn - UID unknown but recons provided with different colours
Difficult to make comparison of photo but Mary possibly had an overbite as did the UID. She seems to have similar defined cheekbones.
Mary appears to have been slim 5'6" / 130lb (UID possibly of slim build).

I wish they had a better picture of Mary! It would be interesting to see her nose shape better and how it compares to Little Lady's. Because I feel like it's a very distinctive nose shape, assuming its correct. It did make me think native the first time I saw it.

I found another picture! The nose does appear to be similar.

Hi all. I've been working in my spare time on the murdered and missing women of the Lawton area. My area of focus as of late has been the Jane Does that are possibly linked to the "Lawton Serial Killer", which is the name given to the man who killed multiple women, all sex workers within about a five year span that were found in similar fashions. Pamela Woodring, who is the woman that was found in 2003 very near where Kiowa Jane Doe was found, I can tell you- they never fully determined cause of death for her or really any of the others. Its assumed they all died of drug overdose. I also believe Pamela Woodring might be a bit of a red herring, there's a few things about her case that do not fit with the others.

I also believe Kiowa Jane Doe wasn't the only victim of the killings found in a random field. Barbara Berry ( who is my profile picture) went missing in 1993 to be found in late 1994 in a crate in Comanche County field. Comanche County and Roosevelt County where Kiowa Jane was found are decently close to one another. I also don't think we necessarily had a serial killer. The women very well might have been a part of a drug trafficking ring, and not necessarily by choice.

Rebecca Jean Boyd was last seen July 27, 2002, arguing with a man at a gas station in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Rebecca has been ruled as being Comanche Jane Doe (2010) and while researching her, I came across a Facebook page for her. However, this is basically the only information I can find on her disappearance. It seems like LE took a formal missing person report, as the owner of the page mentions talking to a detective in the comments.

I'm curious as to why this is tagged as resolved and moved to the Identified thread? I see no posts on this thread confirming that she's been ID'd?

. Her Namus isn’t visible anymore, but I can’t see why - she could have been ID or law enforcement may have
made the record not visible to the public
