He was last seen at a city rescue mission.

One of my nephews was 6’1 at 12. Not common but not entirely out of the question. I’m more wondering what he was doing at the rescue mission. Possibly homeless?

I dont think an 11 year old would exactly be homeless. Possibly he was a recent runaway who tried to stop at a rescue mission, almost got took into custody and ran off, or he was trying to find somebody there.
