Their goal is to have 200 volunteers help bring Glass home and are asking those who have horses or ATV's to bring those to the search as well.

The search will start on Saturday at 8 a.m. at the Kansas Oklahoma UKB community building.

Emma Sanders, Glass’s cousin and the family spokesperson, said cadaver dogs and people in kayaks have searched the area where he was last seen in rural Delaware County. Quapaw Search and Rescue also searched the area where he was last seen and found his cell phone on the side of Road 550 on Dec. 23, she said.

Recent searches have turned up sunglasses and clothes that Sanders believes belong to the missing teen.

A large-scale search is planned for Feb. 10, Sanders said. The family hopes to have 200 volunteers visit some former search sites and search new places where two of Glass’s friends live.

Sanders said Glass was with two friends – a juvenile – and a 23-year-old man and at different times the three got into an argument in the days preceding his disappearance.

“Both gave conflicting statements to law enforcement,” Sanders said.

Delaware County Sheriff James Beck told FOX23 drones and dogs were used during the search. He said the last two individuals Glass was with before he went missing were questioned and not detained. He said Glass could still be out there and not want to be found, and that DCSO is evaluating what their next steps will be.

“I was watching TV and the dog started barking,” Wilkerson said of Trey’s appearance on his property.

Wilkerson said he saw the intoxicated teen standing between his house and the shop.

“He was too drunk to walk,” Wilkerson said.

Wilkerson said he offered the teen a ride home, but he said Glass declined – instead asking if he could cut through his field.

It is believed Trey may have crossed Wilkerson’s land, crossed the Cherokee Turnpike and headed toward his residence, an apartment complex on Cherokee Street.

They believe Trey may have been found in a well on the same property where he was last seen. A property he was apparently using as a short cut. :(

KANSAS, Okla. — A man’s body, believed to be that of missing teen Trey Glass, was found in a well on the property where he was reportedly last seen.

Thank you for following up on Trey. Condolences to family and friends.

The hand-dug well was approximately 40 feet deep and contained around eight feet of water and was located 40 feet beyond Wilkerson’s back yard fence.

“The well used to have a cement cap on it until a horse broke it,” Wilkerson said.

Did he accidentally fall in to the well or was he put in to the well?
I think falling in is most likely. There's a reason why wells are supposed to be capped. They're incredibly dangerous left uncovered. It was far better known about and acknowledged by previous generations - it's a plot point in an L.M. Montgomery book from over a hundred years ago. A character's mother who was thought to have run away from her family with another man was found to have fallen into a well left uncovered in a field she was taking a shortcut through in the twilight darkness, and lay down there undiscovered for many years. Nowadays, open wells are very uncommon, but the old ones from previous generations remain, unless they're completely filled with rubble. They're generally just capped or covered somehow and forgotten about until the land is developed or an incident like this happens.

"'WE STILL DESERVE ANSWERS': FAMILY OF MAN FOUND DEAD IN WELL REMAIN SKEPTICAL

The family of a teenager whose body was found in a well in Delaware County has questions about his death. Trey Glass's body was found in Kansas, Oklahoma, after going missing four months ago."

I struggle with this because it sounds like Trey was familiar with the area. Did he know the well was there. In earlier articles they reference the rancher as his neighbor so that would lead me to believe he may have know the well was there. If Trey was "too drunk to walk' like the former police chief stated he was when he seen him could he have climbed the panels?

The photos of the well actually complicate things for me. If the former police chief thought he was too drunk to be walking around and offered him a ride was he really able to climb the panels and get it. If he knew Trey was headed in the direction of the well and thought he was so intoxicated why didn't he watch him?
