Thoughts:

Given the revealed discovery location of the vehicle .. what 'stood out' that made the two individuals take notice while (assumed) driving by on their way to work?

Did they pass by the vehicle Monday, but Tuesday decided to check it or, was it not there Monday?

If the vehicle wasn't there Monday .. someone had to have driven it (or flatbed it) there? Or, was that a 'party' location? Was DK alone, or with others?

Was DK discovered to be inside or outside her vehicle .. various news reports indicated one or the other .. and it seems it was ultimately decided to report that DK was discovered as being inside her vehicle.

If DK was actually discovered as outside the vehicle, was it because she had pulled off the road (sick or other reason) to what is now the discovery location and ultimately collapsed?

I believe it was Sunday that LE obtained GPS information that placed DK's cell phone within the general vicinity of Fisher, which is also the general vicinity of the discovery location .. do we know the time-stamp of that GPS information?

Was it only location pinging from DK's cell phone or was there also one or more communication pings (voice, text, data)?

There was mention of a Pittsburgh (cell?) phone # possibly dialed from DK's cell phone? Is this confirmed?

Note: cell phone #s are registered to an area .. recipients answering calls to their cell phone aren't necessarily located within their respective registered area so if a Pittsburgh (assumed cell) phone # was dialed from DK's cell phone, the recipient wasn't necessarily located in Pittsburgh.

Is DK's passing the result of criminal behavior?
If so, was this a crime of opportunity or an accident?

I suspect toxicology will be key.

Too many questions .. I hope answers come sooner rather than later.

It seems some questions in my post were answered in a recent article.

Given that neighbors have been informed they are in no danger (from a predator) .. it appears toxicology may play a huge roll.

I also suspect .. DK pulled over because she was feeling sick ..
 
So many unknowns in this case. While it appears the young woman may be the victim of murder or a drug overdose, there are other options, including hypothermia (especially if she was under the influence).

The road she was found on certainly doesn't look well-used. As it is gated, that suggests to me a couple of things--beyond the gate the road isn't maintained during winter or it could be a state gameland or state forest road where vehicular access isn't permitted past the gate.

With a road like the one seen in the news reports, I seriously doubt someone trailered her car there and left it. It's more likely that she drove it there and then died at that location or, if she was murdered, then someone else drove it there. That leaves open the idea that her killer walked away or had an accomplice to drive him away afterwards.

Mainly insulting her saying she thought she was so hot but she was ugly as ****, also said something about beating her up or something. There were comments but I could'nt read most of them as it was a screen caption and not very clear but I saw that Devan herself commented and said "tell this directly to my face".

The friend who posted this said he was disgusted it was his own blood and flesh talking to her like that and he said something about his father but I'm not sure I understood correctly.

I don't recall very well the exact wording as it was past midnight when I read it and I just thought I would look at it in the morning again, but then it was gone!

Oh, they were also saying something about her "handicapped boyfriend" buying or giving her a car. Probably the guy she said she was taking care of in a hotel, I guess it's him who gave her the Lexus.
 
I'm willing to bet that her body wasn't propped up in a sitting position, that would explain both the immediate knowledge that this wasn't a car accident and the fact that people just drove past it over the weekend, they probably just thought someone had parked their car there and after a few days of just sitting there people became suspicious of it.

It may be there is no threat to the locals because of an OD (alcohol and drug mixture) OR it could be the perp's focus was only for her. Just me, but I don't think she pulled up there and parked by her lonesome. Not too many women would, imo. Either she was with someone in the car or other vehicles were with her. Kids usually find houses they can party in, but not always. I tend to think because LE are asking for info....it wasn't just an OD unless it happened someplace else and she was taken there. There would likely be vomit...sorry. Could be retaliation, drugs, money or just plain jealosy if murdered.

Someone saw her...or that vehicle..it stands out...especially in a small town. Someone knows where she was and likely who she was with. Maybe they met in B'Ville and travelled west together? (Black SUV in parking lot with pic?) Between her phone, computer, mileage, evidence found in the car, etc. and people talking.. it won't take LE long. This girl was seeking attention..her FB was wide open for the most part, and she was likely more so among her friends and peers...extroverted and aggressive.

Since LE was able to locate DK's cell phone via GPS pings .. one wonders if LE can obtain warrants for to obtain GPS ping information for cell phones of certain friends .. ? .. begin with the person who snapped the pic of DK sitting on the hood of her new car.

I suppose LE has been unable to determine who is that person?

Also, modern vehicles contain a 'black box' function similar to the black box function on an airplane. It potentially records run time, mileage, max speed, average speed, breaking application / reaction, etc. Perhaps it also maintains a GPS record .. if the vehicle was equipped with the BESPOKE accessory?
 
I'm sorry, my purpose for the post was because the man is not elderly. Not that I think he had a part in this situation. Rumors have been going around for a few months about Devan giving drugs to another individual, whom was found dead the very next morning. Not that she held him down and forced him to take anything, but many people did blame his death on her. My hope is that this case is really looked into. Drugs in this small town are terrible and I think there are things that do not add up. This girl was a terrible loss to many, and I think we as a community let her down and I hope it does not happen again

Thanks but now I have more questions about the photo and the situation.

-was the man disabled?
-was the man someone she was providing services for thru her job as a home health aide?
-was the man someone she was providing services to via an "escort" situation or that she met with from online activities? (I don't know how to really word this)

Do you have an MSM link concerning the deceased man?

He is in a wheel chair. He also has muscle paralysis in his face possibly from a stroke or bell's palsy. Now leaning more towards health care services. ??

Just so no one comes to any false conclusions, I believe Devan worked for an assisted care agency that took care of patients in their residence. Many, many people from that area live in hotels because it is much cheaper than renting an apartment (in that area, at least), and you do not need to furnish it yourself. I personally have a couple friends from the area who chose to live in hotels, and I would not be surprised if the man in her care was one of those individuals.

I just felt the need to get that out there, because I know that living in a hotel may seem silly to some people and be misleading.

Did he have a son who was a friend of Devan's? He says in a post on a pic that she is a friend of Z's?. Later I saw a pic of her and a boy and the child did resemble him. ??? Just curious.

BBM Well that could certainly open up more possibilities of a revenge taking place.

Do you have a link of for this info. Article in MSM or obit? Curious how old this person was, etc. TIA

You may want to get verified as a local MotherfromBrookville. It gives you more leniency in posting......and not just being construed as someone from Timbuktoo posting rumors. You can just notify a mod and they will tell you what is required. It's a very simply possess and doesn't take very long...and painless. :) I'll see if I can find the link for info on it. BRB
