The Flores family not blaming the mother is one thing; however their feelings about the instanity plea is different.

They didn't seem to take back their statement though that they didn't blame the mother.

The Flores family just want justice for Stephany. They will stop at nothing to see that Joran will get what he deserves IMO. Any normal victims family would want that.
They will vehemently oppose any technicalities/insane pleas that will prevent that.

NG Jean describing what hotel staff first saw when they entered the room; saw a female with long dark hair and all the blood; immediately called police. Crime scene analyst Sheryl McCollum on the show describing SF's injuries, he deliberately destroyed her face; she believes J deliberately knew what he was doing; not only about money.

That part REALLY bothers me....It takes the whole thing way beyond overkill doesn't it... interested to see what the psyches have to say about that!

Autopsy Report - Official released
- we don't hear bout t possibility that she fought back
- we don't hear bout VDS bruises, scratches, etc. (coffee shop woman didn't see - unless murdered her after)

NG Jean talking about her interview with Dutch reporter (last night) and how Joran kept going over the penal code of Peru and how he could reduce his sentence (by being convicted of manslaughter instead of murder). NG wants to know where Joran is getting his information. Jean speculating it may come from conversations with Colombian hitman or his attorney.

Dr. Dhar (guest) being asked about Stephany's injuries, DNA under nails and no scratches seen on Joran. Dr. said SF's spinal cord would be broken. SF would be struggling, hemorrhaging from nose, ankle bruises could be from being tied up :waitasec: and NG asks again about her eye being out of the socket :waitasec:. The Dr. says J is a huge guy and SF didn't have a chance.

Michael Griffith on again talking about Lurigancho and Joran may not survive.

Dhar, M.D.: (re autopsy)
- potentially may have been tied up (at some point)
- eye>explained possibly by head trauma; he was hitting her over head; he's huge guy; she did not have a chance

I can not believe that rational people will doom her for giving birth to Joran.
However, she might want to stay in Aruba to be closer to her two other sons and wait upon completion of their education in the USA.

I certainly do not condemn Anita for giving birth to Joran, a murderer. And I'm also aware of the terrible position she finds herself presently in. It's true, she's damned if she does and damned if she doesn't. That's why I don't understand why parents of the accused don't limit themselves to two comments.

1) I love my child and will not abandon him/her in their time of need.
2) No further comment

Although admittedly is easy to be an armchair psychologist, I'm critical of the way it appears that she turned a blind eye to early problems, especially being a teacher that should have been trained to pick up on such indicators, rather than dealing with them head on. I'm critical of her for instead of dealing with these problems, she took the 'out of sight, out of mind' approach and allowed him to live apart from the rest of the family and to come and go at his will. I'm critical of her for allowing him the funds by way of a very large amount of money on account with which to gamble and drink at the casino while he was under the legal age to do so. I'm critical of the way she blamed (and continues to blame) others for his problems, specifically Natalee and her family. And I'm critical of her trying to spin his current problems into a mental disorder, thus further not holding him responsible or making him be responsible for his own actions.

Aside from that, I'm not thoroughly convinced that she doesn't know more about what happened to Natalee than most seem to think.

Does anyone remember Mark Hacking's mother? She did none of this type thing. She stated that she loved her son. She was enormously apologetic for what her son did. She never denied or covered up or tried to spin it into anything more than it was. That's how one should handle it, IMO.

Hotel staffer says she saw female and saw long hair and blood.

I thought someone posted earlier that there was a gag order for the hotel staff.
:waitasec:

In one of the photos NG just showed of the shoe I think I saw a woman's thumb on it. Would that be OK to do with crime scene evidence [hold it up for the camera]? There was no glove on it. FWIW.

IMO, just because AVS is saying her son is "sick in the head" or that he was suppose to go into a mental facility doesn't mean that AVS is throwing out that her son is insane and pushing for an "insanity plea."

Hi Flow! I was just typing what Nancy was saying.

Body found Not wearing sneakers>photo of sneakers taken prior to moving body (not on her)
- sneakers>blood splatter

Her pants must have been folded and in an area well guarded from the blood splatter. Tho her black tee didn't seem to be filled with blood either.... Maybe she did take her clothes off and put on JVS shirt to sleep in. It would have been as big and long as a night shirt or dress on her. He then takes the shirt off after the deed and redresses her in the tee. ??? Don't quite know, but something is hinky with the clothing so far....IMO ?????

As soon as he was busted for her murder>NG says, he called Mommy

?: We learn it wasn't a court-appointed atty; she showed up (w/other atttys?) and he actually chose her

JC: 2 bros, the cab drivers, actually did not show up today

NG VM talking about the complaint J's attorney filed against the police; J had chosen an attorney to be present during questioning & confession; then Altiz became attorney later. Jean talking about the taxi drivers not being present in court; they had submitted in writing a reason they could not be there, appearance rescheduled for July 6.

I'm not attacking Anita either---but, mother to mother it is time to wake up and smell all the roses and experience all the pain and suffering that your son has inflicted. Stephany brutally beaten- DNA under her nails covered in blood and bruised. And, its also time to admit that 5 years ago another young woman was with Joran and was never seen alive again. This isn't a coincidence. The only difference is that this time Joran had no one to dispose of the body and help him lie his way out of this. There was a big time cover up in Aruba. Anita you need to accept that your son is a monster. You need to help your 2 other children and help them learn from Joran's actions. Make sure that they have a conscience. That they don't exhibit brutality to others. It is okay to still love Joran because he is your son--but you need to admit to his true nature. If he is allowed to get off on these charges other young women will die. I have never had such evil thoughts towards another human being as I have toward your son.
Even Ted Bundy told the truth when caught. I will pray for you. I am also praying for myself, as I never want to feel this way about another person as long as I live.

I believe they are referring to an initial statement made by the hotel employee who found Stephany's body; as far as I know, no new statements have been made by the staff. MOO

Hi Flow! I was just typing what Nancy was saying.

I appreciate you typing up what they say because some times [many times] I wonder if I am really hearing what I think I hear.

For all I know it could have been someone on NG who said there was a gag order. There seems to be alot of contradicting things said on the show even during one show. JMO

Yes, suzihawk
A lot of us remember, and commended her for her attitude.
IMO

ABC didn't do the interview, they bought the interview; there is a difference.

I am not misleading anyone when I wrote AVS wasn't making money; the reporter stated this in the article. :banghead:

Until I know otherwise that she is not making any additional money, then I will go with what the reporter indicated in the article.

Actually, he only said that he didn't pay her hence the discussion here about other networks licensing.

CASAREZ: You know, John, I just have to ask you this because people are going to wonder. Were you paid to do this interview? Did you pay the family to do this interview?

VAN DEN HEUVEL: No. No. I didn`t pay anything. I asked Anita to give an interview. I talked to her. It was for two reasons. She wants to -- she wants to give her point of view and she wants to let the world know that she thinks that Joran is totally crazy and sick in his head, but I don`t pay nothing for the interview.

I honestly can't understand Stephany's clothing being off her body either or why she would've removed it voluntarily. From all appearances it didn't seem she was "interested" in Joran, and also the report about the sanitary napkin would seem that she didn't intend to have sex with him. MOO
