OK
Just humor me this AM.
Have to listen to my 3 sons from Italy- song I don't "Want To Miss a Thing" from the guy with the big lips, something-or-other Tyler:

Got an email from Samantha Alexander this AM about the donation I sent them (in honor of their parents). Thought I'd post it here first before I post it in the Observers Thread:

Thank you so much for your support. It was hard to hear the defense continue to trash my parents. They are both passed away and died living a clean and productive life in the end. The defense continues to get lower when you don't think its possible. We are getting more anxious as the verdict is near. We just hope that the jurors will see through all Jodi's lies. It is very scary because they have been given limited information, that the rest of the world has the privilege to see. I just hope that Justice will prevail.

Thank you again.

Sincerely,

Samantha Alexander

Hey, what happened to Seguek?
I'm going to PM her to see if she's OK.
See you later.

Oh, yeah.

Morning Viv
Same thing has happened to me. Seguek's song Wild is the Wind keeps going thru my mind- all day, all night.

Seguek this is for you- original 1957 song sung by Johnny Mathius- for the movie (but, don't cry or I'll bop you one );

Speaking of movie tunes, this one has always been a favorite - kind of a sleazy feel, but you can do a mean stroll to it!

Here's my favorite Johnny M.:

Good Morning my new friends! I just wanted to introduce myself as a newbie and tell you all how much of an impact you've unknowingly had on my life. My Mom is the one who introduced me to this heinous trial and through my wanderings on the internet I found this site.
You have no idea how much this site has gotten me through the unexpected death of my beloved Mother. She and I spent the last few months watching the trial together, going so far as watching it everyday while we were on vacation in Cape May NJ last month.
A week after we got home she tripped and broke her shoulder and when she recovered fully from surgery, they transferred her to a rehab facility after 2 weeks in hospital (we had the trial on the telly in the hospital always). The morning after she was transferred I received the call. At 5:15am, my Mom passed away.
Needless to say I'm a wreck, but somehow coming here is helping me to cope, and makes me feel closer to my Mom.
I've read things here enough to turn my poker-straight hair curly, and I am amazed at the strength you all have. I look forward to joining in the discussions here about the JA trial (I hate to even give her the respect of using her name) and I Pray for Justice for Travis Alexander and his beautiful family.
In my heart, I truly feel wonderful Juan Martinez will ensure Justice for Travis.

God bless you all, and thank you to the mods who helped me sign up here, losing my Mom so recently seems to have made even the simplest of things difficult.

I am so sorry for your loss, writersblock.

I lost my Mom to cancer, after a long period of chemo, radiation, ups, downs. I was very close to her and was lucky that I got laid off from my job just when she needed the most care. So I got to spend a lot of time with her in her last days, and it was a great privilege.

This was 13 years ago, and I still miss her dearly.

My baby sister died from cancer last summer at age 49, and I also was able to care for her in the last weeks of her life. I miss her terribly and think of her every day.

So I feel I can relate somewhat to your grief, and hope you have a lot of support in your life to help you through it. And am glad for whatever solace you can take from your online friends here.
