Very true.kgeaux said:All homes that had evidence of bodies were searched---if there was an odor, if family members called and reported that their loved ones had stayed behind, these homes were searched.
This was a terrible decision to make, I personally think the correct and honorable thing to do would be to assure that not one body is 'left behind', but this decision is not unusual considering that it's Louisiana we're talking about. When have they EVER made a decision in favor of the state residents??
It's starting to come out how many millions of dollars the Federal government has given over the years for levee improvements---none of it spent on the levees--the money went to pet projects of the state government officials. :banghead:
They will never get the stench out of those homes, let alone if anything dead was in them. I expect they will bulldoze the entire Ninth Ward.Mabel said:OMG, I can't even imagine the condition of the dead bodies after so much time in the heat and humidity. Are people expected to live in these homes after the bodies are removed? I couldn't do it.

However, you've got to be kidding!!! You can't mean that Louisiana would divert funds from a project, then cry that the Federal Government didn't do enough to build up the levee's. They should have known it would catch up with them. I wonder who's blowing the whistle?
