There is a marriage certificate to the man she went to California with and a divorce decree 7 years later in Virginia. The divorce decree states they were only married for 10 days.

Can you provide a link to this information please?

Kentucky you say? There’s one possibility that comes to mind: 929UFKY
That is very possible. We will definitely look into that one! Thank you!

Nancy lived and worked in Clarksville, TN. It is said that she left her 3 children with her landlord and told the landlord to call her mother to come to get the kids 30 minutes after she left. Her kids were around 4yr, 2yr, and 8 months at that time, and her mother lived over an hour away. When her mother showed up Nancy's apartment had been cleared. We are certain she made it to California though because of the marriage certificate.

Hello! Do you have any additional information for Nancy? I was wondering where you were able to locate this info. Thank you!

I found the same information as jmerc, but I also found that she had married a Johnnie D. Hall in January of 1967. They must've gotten an annulment or something, because Mr. Hall went on to marry a different woman (child, she was 14) in October 1967. Here are the documents/ documentation I found. So the whole Mexican Army story is probably not true.
