Heyo, TDTF volunteer here! I ended up going through the case submission sheet, and we appear to have them on our radar. We'll take this as a sign to research this case further, as there are quite a lot of things the team is up to soon, and hopefully, we'll be able to share it with the public soon!

This New York Doe has been updated in NamUs recently: NY - NY - PosHisp Fem, 25-35, red lace bodysuit, chin implant, 1108UFNY May'98

She was found wearing female clothing and was previously listed as female, but her sex is now listed as unknown. A comment on the entry says "They were wearing a red lace body suit and "Bodega" brand women's jeans, which indicates the individual may have been living as female, however the sex assigned at birth is not known."

I wonder why this changed. Do you think they've re-examined her remains or autopsy report and found indications that she was not assigned female at birth?

The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

Unidentified person listed as male but found wearing female clothing and known to use several female aliases.

"On 3/7/2015 the decedent was found unresponsive in a park bathroom. He was transported by ambulance to a local hospital where he remained until his death on 3/16/2015. The decedent had unofficial identification cards with multiple names. Several friends were contacted and all knew him by different names but all said he went by "Carolina"."
