Tammy's dispatch call:
(Not an exact quote) 'He [the gunman] didn't say anything, he was just holding a gun, he had a rifle, just shooting at me, but nothing came out of the gun...'

I understand what Prior is trying to get at in his cross, regarding the report's later amendments, but when he asked the witness (Cannon?) where he heard "gun" in the recording, then only played half of the recording, that's... that's no good. You can be sure that at least some of the jurors if not all of them remembered the entire dispatch call and Prior's stunt in this instance will backfire.
 
Chad probably "planted" the cough medicine. [Good one, Chad!] I am aware that antidepressants can cause you to bruise more easily. However, I have no doubt that Tammy was forcibly restrained at the time she was asphyxiated.

"Dr. Chad" reported all the grim details of Tammy's (alleged) declining health, that would readily explain how she died at a relatively young age. (IMO!)

This sequence of TD's "natural death" is one of the most disturbing in the case for me. So brazen, so cruel -- and yet they got away with it. Feels like a tipping point onto the next murderous phase.

Alex was, without question, acting as a hit man and was acting for the interests of both Chad and Lori. Chad expressly endorses his "valuable" work in the patriarchal blessing, and he was the person responsible for identifying as "dark" each of the victims Alex murdered or attempted to murder. Chad researched wind direction and texted that he had set a fire in the fire pit and buried a big racoon where Tylee's body was found. His conduct with Lori throughout the final months as well as his behavior when the property was searched shows how deeply he was tied to this murderous and immoral enterprise.

Great post. I think that patriarchal blessing and the raccoon story was over the top for me. Of course, we knew he was guilty before we heard those things but that blessing was like a push for Alex to kill himself, IMO. I just wonder if the jury knows at least some of what went on because Prior has done a good job so far. I know he is one hundred percent guilty. I get ill every time Prior says he is a humble man.

I love to come here and see all the excellent posts.

While the defence is not under a burden to prove anything, if they want to raise a reasonable doubt - a real possibility that Chad was not involved, IMO they need to be able to point to some factual foundation to address your last sentence. We have Chad on video in Hawaii, living it up without the kids. We have him recorded on a phone call with the kids missing, failing to address real concerns in any sensible manner. The only natural and obvious inference is he did it.

For him to be innocent, there has to be some kind of explanation he can point to, about how LV deceived him. Where will that come from? Where did he think the kids were, if not in his yard?
