She first ordered the rings in August, but that order was cancelled because the seller was too busy with school.

I can’t seem to grasp the limited amount of time the court allows for testimony each day. I get today they dismissed 15 min early rather than start with a new witness though that seems to happen a lot too. But I checked today’s recording because it seems so odd to me. It appears that today’s recording was almost exactly 7 hours and ended at roughly 3:15 Idaho time. So the recording started at 8:15 but court didn’t actually start until 27 minutes into the recording so approx 8:42 then less than an hour of testimony & then a break & then just under 2 hours of testimony & lunch break & then just over 1 hr of testimony & afternoon break & then less than 45 min testimony & then dismissed for the day. If my math is correct that’s less than 4 3/4 hours of testimony for the day and 2 1/4 hours for breaks. Is that normal in Idaho for jury trials? Where I live court would be in session for 8 hours (8:30-4:30) and they would take a 1 hour lunch break and a 15-20 minute break in the morning and another 15-20 minute break in the afternoon so most days would be 6 1/4 to 6 1/2 hours of testimony. Also they are just as likely to shorten the lunch break to finish with a witness or extend the day by 15 minutes to hear another witness as they are to dismiss 15 minutes prior to their scheduled time. Are our local courts the odd ones for getting over 6 hours of testimony each day or is Idaho for getting less than 5 hours?

I am really looking forward to JP's defense. Because right now, he is all over the place, and nothing seems to be cohesive and leading to a specific conclusion. JMO.

He has tried to portray Tammy Daybell as a fat, depressed, lethargic person. Definitely not working. Her friends and coworkers describe an energetic, friendly, happy person.

And he doesn't seem to have any other real direction, to me, with his cross examinations of prosecution witnesses.

I can’t seem to grasp the limited amount of time the court allows for testimony each day. I get today they dismissed 15 min early rather than start with a new witness though that seems to happen a lot too. But I checked today’s recording because it seems so odd to me. It appears that today’s recording was almost exactly 7 hours and ended at roughly 3:15 Idaho time. So the recording started at 8:15 but court didn’t actually start until 27 minutes into the recording so approx 8:42 then less than an hour of testimony & then a break & then just under 2 hours of testimony & lunch break & then just over 1 hr of testimony & afternoon break & then less than 45 min testimony & then dismissed for the day. If my math is correct that’s less than 4 3/4 hours of testimony for the day and 2 1/4 hours for breaks. Is that normal in Idaho for jury trials? Where I live court would be in session for 8 hours (8:30-4:30) and they would take a 1 hour lunch break and a 15-20 minute break in the morning and another 15-20 minute break in the afternoon so most days would be 6 1/4 to 6 1/2 hours of testimony. Also they are just as likely to shorten the lunch break to finish with a witness or extend the day by 15 minutes to hear another witness as they are to dismiss 15 minutes prior to their scheduled time. Are our local courts the odd ones for getting over 6 hours of testimony each day or is Idaho for getting less than 5 hours?

This used to really get me during the Michelle Troconis trial in CT. I would keep track of actual testimony time during the first week or so and it amounted to about 4.5 hrs per day or less. I had to just let it go or it would have driven me crazy! The jury was also not allowed to keep deliberating past 4:30 every day because they closed the courthouse.

Seems like trials in TX and FL have more normal hours while some of these other states are going on "bankers hours".

Isn’t malachite black? I don’t believe it’s turquoise.

It is green with black striations running through it. But it is a stone similar to turquoise, but has a glaze to it rather than a matte finish like turquoise has. (Hopefully 25 others haven't already answered this.)

Health insurance. They apparently all were on Tammy's plan through her work, so after her death, they had to get on a different plan.

And the insurance broker testified that Seth and Leah were able to qualify for medicaid after Tammy's death.
