6 y/o boy stealing food?!?! at Gr'ma's house?!?!?! hmmmm.

"Dallas police found a 6-year-old boy locked in a shed in Pleasant Grove, which reportedly led to the arrest of his grandmother and her boyfriend.
"... officers were called to the home for a health and welfare check. A witness directed officers to the shed..." where LE found him w hands tied behind his back.
"The boy’s grandmother told officers she’d locked the child in the shed as punishment and her boyfriend said it had been happening for at least two weeks because the child was stealing food."

No names were given in this DallasNews.com May 11 article.

No child deaths here, thank goodness, but certainly abuse and cruelty. Did those two adults only select this 6 y/o boy, as often happens with multiple children, or did those people abuse all of them?

In jail, high bond amounts. Good.
And the children are out of there. Good.
At least that little 6 y/o now has a bed and a real bathroom somewhere, as do the the others, I'm assuming. Good.
In that shed for two weeks.
How was that little boy to take care of himself when he had to urinate, etc., in a bag since he had his hand tied behind him?
I'm assuming that the grandma and her boyfriend left that house in handcuffs with their hands behind them -- at least for a few minutes while they were taken to jail. Good.

When society shows the worst in people.....can only (painfully) imagine the amount of children being abused during quarantine. Heartbreaking to say the least. Maybe, just maybe, he will be able to forget his nightmare some day.
