I wonder if she had family in Ohio. My aunts husband ( both gone now) had Davis family in Ohio.

Went to follow devertere's lead and found supporting information:

Found a Linda Davis (Senior in 1962) at Bellaire High School in Bellaire, TX, which looks to be outside Houston. She looks very similar to this Linda Davis to me.
Found a CFD (potential father) public record in Houston and died in Houston 2010. Could not find a more extensive obituary. From the obit. for TKB (potential aunt), it seems he likely went by "Fred."

Not sure the marriage to DLM is a correct route. On the marriage record it has Linda as born in ~1953, which is younger than this Linda.

My heart skipped a beat over this one. My MIL's SIL/Best Friend, has the same name! But, she is definitely alive and well and in a completely different state. She is the sweetest lady!

My first husband attended Bellaire High School, graduating in 1963. It wasn't a huge school, so I'll ask him if he remembers anything about her or her family.

My husband dated her in high school,?they broke up when he went into the Air Force, she married a Sharkey, think that was the way it was spelled, they divorced and he married again and later was killed, I think in a car wreck, she married married again also, I believe they divorced too.
