UPDATE-DAY70 for Richard-Day34 for us. Uninformed at home in Fl. until Rob called on DAY36. Thank you for continuing to SHARE and PRAY. The USArmy is building a case for themselves to justify NOT getting in touch with us – WE CALLED THEM. They blame it on Richard's inaccurate DD93. “They called the number and were verbally abused” So the Army is afraid of verbiage? WOW. Just WOW. It took the CID less than ONE minute to get our contact information. STOP! How does this cover-up help us find Richard now? We just want to FIND RICHARD. #findrichardhalliday

The following is very important and is a response from my dear dear friend after we had received an answer from a credible lead, remember leads are often false – this maybe false but is a credible lead, that a said person was seen with Richard's CC because Richard went to Mexico with a girlfriend: “I have been burned all night with the realization that the CID did nothing with a guy with a credit card. I know that if he had information that Richard was for sure in Mexico, as he said, that all of the stuff done in El Paso is fruitless. That information is very very important. I think they should go back and personally visit him and find out if he for sure knew Richard left for Mexico. And why he knew that. He told that girl that he went to Mexico. He must have known something. I have been up all night praying and thinking. I think the investigators are the only ones that can get that information. They need to go back again. See him in person. Forget the credit card although that is very important, is more important and he said he went to Mexico. And does he really know that? Praying for you today. “

TODAY we will be at Santa Fe Gate at the border crossing at 11am handing out fliers and getting information. I will live stream.

REWARD!!! USArmy is offering $25,000 for credible information leading to finding Richard Halliday. Our VERY LARGE Family's [snipped] has past $12,000. Thank you all so much!!! That is combined $37,000.00, a life charger, to #findrichardhalliday. Please God let Richard be alive.

Life is precious. Richard has a FUTURE! USEFUL LINK: https://www.mcguffeysonlinetutor.com/Missing-Poster-with... https://www.mcguffeysonlinetutor.com/Spanish-poster.pdf

Find Richard Halliday
Here is a little bit about Richard for you to help us #findrichardhalliday : Richard is a deep thinker and enjoyed a variety of topics: politics, theology, science, medicine, cryptocurrency, etc. He was always researching something and then would write papers on the topic he was researching just for fun. He liked politics a lot and was always up to date on the news and enjoyed discussing it with others. His favorite YouTuber is Mark Dice.
‌Many people think that Richard is an introvert but in fact he is a real people person but not necessarily a people pleaser. He enjoys activities that involve other people like board games and cards, sports, watching movies, etc. He liked crime, mystery, and martial arts movies and was a big Jackie Chan fan for a long time. He is a black belt in Karate. He enjoyed long walks and working out, but Richard is always happiest when he did these activities with others and when left alone too long he would become irritable.
‌Richard also enjoyed music. He not only played the piano, but loved to sing. He loved doing karaoke. His favorite artists are Maroon 5, Bon Jovi, and Aerosmith.
‌Richard would act tough and indifferent, but he was very kind, caring, and gentle. He is the godfather of his oldest nephew and was so great with him when he was a baby. He is also very adventurous and independent. When he stayed with his sister, Hannah, in Korea he attended a Korean language class (he attended German language courses for more than a year in Germany also) and would travel to his class on his own by bus and subway and would explore the capital city on his own. Ever since he was young he always needed to be doing something or going somewhere.

Thank you for sharing that, @YaYa_521. It was nice that his family provided such detailed information about what kind of person Richard is. I think more families of missing people should do this!

Lawmaker, family of missing Fort Bliss soldier Pvt. Richard Halliday ask FBI for help
The El Paso Times | Published: October 9, 2020

EL PASO, Texas (Tribune News Service) — U.S. Rep. Veronica Escobar joined the family of a missing Fort Bliss soldier Thursday in asking that the FBI join the investigation amid growing suspicions of foul play.

The family of Pvt. Richard Halliday has received information leading them to suspect foul play was involved in his disappearance, his mother, Patricia Halliday, said at an afternoon news conference outside the Army post.

“At this time, the FBI El Paso office has not received a request for assistance from Army CID. We are monitoring the situation and are ready to provide resources upon receipt of such a request," FBI spokeswoman Special Agent Jeanette Harper said Thursday.

The family wants a "neutral and unbiased third party" to investigate the disappearance, Patricia Halliday said.

Soldiers won’t be classified AWOL under new policy until Army proves they are intentionally absent

Soldiers who fail to report for duty will not be officially classified as AWOL until the Army can prove they have intentionally shirked duty, under a forthcoming policy endorsed this week by the service’s top leaders. The new policy will create a “clear and unequivocal” category within the service’s records to classify soldiers who fail to show up for work as missing,...

Snip

McConville said the adjustment is meant to clear up confusion about the Army’s longstanding AWOL policies, which automatically qualified a soldier who missed work as AWOL, but did not trigger efforts to locate that individual. The new policy makes clear that soldiers who are missing should immediately and “aggressively” be searched for, the general said.

KTSM has changed her name to Jane to keep her anonymous at her request.

“I had been on some dating apps,” Jane said. “I found that I had matched with him.”

[...]

Jane said almost one month ago, on Sept. 26, the two decided to meet.

“When we met at Sonic at Montana, I parked my car,” she said. “He told me it was better if I would just go into his car so we can order.”

[...]

“When he opened his wallet, all his cards fell,” she said. “So when all the cards fell out, he grabbed one and said I need to hide this one. It’s from the missing soldier.”

Jane said she saw a blue and white credit card with the name Halliday on it. She said the soldier remained calm and relaxed and told her Halliday had fled to Cancun with his girlfriend.

She said the soldier told her he was doing Halliday a favor, and using the credit card so the military could think he was still in El Paso.

His father said that Richard was planning to leave the Army.

He started having problems in November after returning from Qatar, his mom said to the Stars and Stripes newspaper.

'We were told, there's a lot of things we didn't know about Richard from January till now. Things that happened to him. We did know that when he was in Qatar, I talked to him a lot, and he had some concerns about leadership and he was really thinking about leaving,' Rob said.

After he was missing his parents later learned that he had been disciplined for drunken driving. El Paso police arrested him on January 25 on a DWI charge.

On March 28 he was also disciplined for unintentionally crossing the border into Mexico.
