At a press conference this afternoon, police have said they believe the victim is a local man in his 60s from Salford.

Formal ID has not taken place but the family of the suspected victim has been informed and are being supported by specialist officers, members of the press were told.

Further human remains, thought to have belonged to the same victim, were uncovered by police at Blackleach Reservior

More body parts found, two men arrested were known to the victim and lived in the same property but were not related to him. Victim likely died at the property in late March. More remains were found in Blackleach Reservoir and also in Linnyshaw Colliery Woods, found by a dog walker.

I wonder what the relationship between the three was ?
It’s not a rented property as it was purchased a couple of years ago.
Interesting.

It’s number 195 - the front door has changed since Aug 23 looking at google maps street view.

I had a mooch on Find my Past’s electoral register and 3 men are listed as living there two 2012-2024, another 2018-2024. Various others have come and gone over the years. I’ll refrain from posting names in case I get in bother.

HMO maybe? Though 12 years sounds like an awful long time for 3 people to be living in the same HMO.
