Benjamin Doron Baker was last seen on Jan. 25 at the Buckhorn Country Store in Clifton Forge, and the BP station in Covington, and has not been seen since.

April 6, 2024, the Alleghany County Sheriff’s Office was notified by the Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office that the vehicle belonging to Benjamin Baker had been found off Kate’s Mountain Road in White Sulphur Springs, WV.

Does not look good. I am familiar with this area, and this man would have been too. There is no crime there, but also no reason for a person to go there and leave their truck. Not without a planned trip or something that would have left a trail for LE to find him. He may not want to be found.

Sister of missing man seeks answers as truck is found across state lines

Benjamin Baker was last seen on January 25th, at a Covington gas station. Now, new clues have emerged leading authorities to West Virginia.

ALLEGHANY COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) - A Covington family is desperately searching for their missing loved one, as they believe several things could be behind his disappearance.

Crosier (his sister) says Baker has struggled on and off with his mental health for years. She said he’s left home before, but always kept in contact with someone in the family.

Crosier says his only source of income has not been accessed in over 30 days.

“It’s completely out of character for one thing he has never gone longer than a week without contacting our mother,” said Crosier.

Crosier is worried that he’s off his medication. She’s also concerned because he recently won a lottery and says she thinks foul play could be involved.

Authorities told WDBJ7 they found a piece of important evidence outside of the vehicle, but would not disclose what it was.
