Missing:

Chesterfield County Police are searching for a missing woman who was last seen on March 17, 2023.

Candice H. Nelson, 40, was last seen by family at her home in the 3300 block of Stone Manor Circle at about noon on March 17. She was reported missing on March 24.

Nelson is described as a white female, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds. She has brown eyes and she recently cut her hair and dyed it blue.

It is believed she left home with her dog, which is described as a white, shorthaired Husky mix.

Anyone with information about Nelson's whereabouts should contact the Chesterfield County Police Department at 804-748-1251 or Crime Solvers at 804-748-0660, or through the P3 app.

It's too bad she wasn't reported missing for 7 days. :( I imagine some people don't keep in close touch with family & friends.

Add to that another 4 days before Chesterfield posted it to their site. I've got friends up that way. Not much is being publicized about this case. None of the Richmond area TV stations have anything and I find nothing in the Richmond Times-
Dispatch.
 
After looking at it on Google Maps, I've been to that general area several times going to the nearby YMCA. I believe there is a walking trail around a pond to the south of the YMCA. I hope LE has searched that area.
 

Just found this second FB profile with pictures posted after she went missing...Aug/Sept23...Guess it's just never been officially confirmed that she was found or turned up.
