The 22-year-old son of Reverend Maxwell Appiah, a Ghanaian Pastor based in the US and Lead Pastor at Revelation City Church has gone missing and his whereabouts are unknown.

The Virginia State Police, working with the Stafford County Sheriff's Office, identified Appiah as an "at-risk/missing person."

Darius is still missing. The search in Alum Springs Park lasted two days and concluded January 27 (last Saturday).

Most recent FB post by Fredericksburg PD here. There haven't been any other posts by LE since Saturday.

There's a "Bring Darius Home" FB page with more info, including info about a family/volunteer-run search this weekend. They're also looking for help getting Darius's name and info out there. I'm not sure who's running it but it's been directly linked by Darius's mom so it's approved by family.

(There hasn't been much press coverage. There was an article posted yesterday, but it's all the same info that was posted Wednesday with the exception of an update on the family's fundraiser.)

The family has been searching for their son since he went missing. They tell DC News Now that hours after he did not return home from his work shift, and did not answer his cell phone, they contacted police. They said that behavior was out of the ordinary.

They then learned through his laptop, which was still at home, that he had ordered food on Doordash on Mine Road in Fredericksburg, and picked it up just minutes after work. They say they believe that was the last place he was seen.

They said days later, his car was found at Alum Spring Park.

Since the car was found, the family has arranged search parties at the park. They are hosting another one on Saturday, Feb. 3, in the morning.

... They said part of the challenge is that Darius’ job is in Spotsylvania County, he lives in Stafford County, and the park is in Fredericksburg.
