Yes, it is. Seems that JM did have a change of clothes in his car. He is in a different shirt then the white shirt in the video. Could be why they went back for clothes, iirc. jmo idk

But he was already on "the mall"- and followed the group from Blue Light to Tempo? Car would have been out of the way, and it's odd to think he would go back to the car to change shirts imo

It isnt you ,it is them. Molly is a more pure form ,without the fillers..E IS the name of the the pill. molly is put in capsules. In the 70's it was prescribed to people .However it takes about 45 minutes for the effects of that to hit someone so I doubt that is how Hannah was lead away.

"Molly" is the powder form of MDMA, which makes it *easier* to cut with fillers & dilute it's efficacy. It's supposed to be more pure, but rarely ever is. Rolls / pills tend to be stronger / more effective, but can also have speed or RC's (research chemicals) in them, which can result in having a bad time.

Not that anyone here would need one, but a Marquis Reagent test is the best way to tell what your pills / Molly actually contain. They can be bought online if you Google it. ;-)

I think it's just because people who knew him as being a 'great guy' came out first and in full force. After having so many people vouch for him it made it people think 'hmm, maybe he didn't do anything to Hannah'.

The people who thought he was a creep held back for some odd reason. It took over a week to hear anything bad about the guy.

Then BAM! Major creeper alert.

If one was planning to say something unflattering about a suspect in a kidnap and possible murder, one would be wise to wait until that person was in police custody.....especially if they were acquainted by name with that suspect. Not to mention, first providing all their information to police who might encourage them NOT to share that info with the press.

I gave a witness description of an incident, and when it was printed in the paper, they actually published that the crime took place by a man wearing a polka dot clown suit. I never said that. I said he was wearing a hooded pullover/poncho that was the color cream. Ever since then, I have been very skeptical about things I read in the paper vs what the facts really are.

omg, lol

Maybe, he put his arm around her because she was so inebriated she could barely stand up on her own? So says an employee at Tempo.

How is it a young girl can wander around in this state with no one offering to help or even call her a cab to take her home?

But she HAD been standing up all night. She HAD been walking, jogging everywhere. Certainly her actions seem strange and confused and she may have been inebriated, but not to the point of not being able stand and walk unassisted. That only happened after she encountered him. I definitely think he put something in a drink and gave it to her. Whether she was outside the bar or in, she could still drink it. I think the police found more of the drug in his car or house and that is why they suddenly zoned in on him.

My son is a white guy, with a family and full time job and a couple part-time jobs, who wears dreads . So I think (imoo) he would fit #3.
Dreads are religious if you are a practicing Rastafarian. I understood him to be christian. Maybe just a fashion thing. They look more like braids to me than dreads anyway.

I don't get why so many people are having a hard time understanding the charge. It's not an "intent to defile" charge it's "abduction with intent to defile." Abduction is a lesser included charge - a class 5 felony. The intent to defile motivation raises it to a class 2 felony. It's essentially an abduction that is motivated by a sexual purpose, i.e., intent to molest.

Here is an example of a set of facts that resulted in an abduction with intent to defile conviction upheld on appeal:

Here's another description of a conviction:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/01/28/AR2009012803534.html

The suspect was the last person to be seen with HG. According to the Coy Barefoot article, witnesses reportedly have her being very drunk, even unable to stand up. Witnesses also say the suspect was drinking, very inappropriately grabby with women all night, and had his hands on HG. HG is missing and there is no reason to believe that she simply vanished on her own. They also have the Liberty accusation. The warrant came back after some forensics - we don't know what they are yet. Presumably there is something else. So they get over the probable cause hurdle. We don't know what they have or don't have. Might they only have enough for probable cause and not enough for a conviction? Yeah, we don't know the evidence they've got.

I think the charge fits as examples for it are given, but I think the "abduction" part is confusing, as she was not truly abducted. IF all JM had done was taken Hannah back to her apartment, where she wanted to go, or handed her over to UVA campus security or the police, it would not have been an issue She willingly went with him, first of all, trusting him to get her where she wanted to go, and he really was the only one who reached out to a drunk, lost confused girl. It's the intent part that gets him. He had no intentions, it appears, to have gotten her somewhere safely without taking advantage of her. That has yet to be proven, but from witness accounts and his track record, not to mention the fact that Hannah has disappeared, makes it pretty clear that he was not a good Samaratin, which he could have been. As a former cab driver, he had to have been accustomed to taking drunk college students home, though I don't even want to think about the possible abuse he might have done in that role.

From eye witness accounts, Hannah did NOT recoil when JM put his arms around her, and she willingly waited for him outside of a place when she could have left or appealed to someone, even another female for help. She did not. She trusted him to get her safely where she wanted to go. It's what happened after this that is the big issue. And where is Hannah now? How did she get there? Who put her there?

she was stumbling in the videos. she wasn't holding up the upper portion of her body very well. in no way am i defending this guy. i think he's guilty, but i don't think he needed to drug her. alcohol just sneaks up like that. one minute you are at a 20 year class reunion dancing and holding normal conversations the next minute you are sitting outside with your shoes off blacking out telling your husband you refuse to walk because you can't. that was my last run in with too much to drink and not enough to eat. the black outs happens suddenly.

I think that description fits me
I need facts before i commit and voice an opinion on guilt or innocence
I am not a supporter of anyone, just like to give it thought and learn more about a POI or witness as I go along, before coming to a final opinion

Just what I do

This is me as well. I like to play out every scenario - even ones that I am not comfortable with or that may be impossible. Sometimes having an open mind leads to out of the box ideas or what ifs. I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

I agree with you that alcohol sneaks up suddenly. The problem I have is that we see her spending so much time walking from one place to another NOT drinking, I would have thought the alcohol would be having time to wear off a bit. I guess there is a lot of time that we are NOT seeing, during which she is drinking heavily?? Is there any video evidence or witnesses that prove she was drinking heavily of her own free will?

I agree with this theory. I don't see how she can go from running and walking at such a fast pace, to all of a sudden not being able to stand on her own at 1:45 am especially since no one saw her enter Tempo to drink more (well except for that one witness).

He returned to Tempo at 1:10am and bought two drinks. He could of bought Hannah water or a soda, or even snuck out a drink, but he had possession of that drink before giving it to her and then all of a sudden 35 minutes later the bouncer sees them outside Tempo and she can't stand on her own.

It's really sad. At first I thought why didn't those girls approach JM and HG when they saw her wasted with JM helping hold her up. But then I thought about what I would do if I saw the creeper that was touching me all night walking with a girl who looked very intoxicated . I would prob think poor girl and shocked that someone would actually give him the time of day. I bet they wish they would have done something now and I can't imagine how heavy that must be weighing on their hearts! I pray that HG is found alive but IMO I don't think she is. I also think JM is guilty. IMO He's just waiting to see what they have against him or if they find her.

People have also asked how can she go from walking fine to barely standing up. I can understand that it is possible.

I was 21, bridesmaid and cheap liquor was served. I was wasted. After the wedding everyone was going to a casino but once I got out the car in the parking lot I became mean. I yelled at my boyfriend and kicked his car n I ran into some apt complex and from there I was blacking in and out. At one point I was walking down a busy street n remember thinking omg where am I and feeling scared. In a bridesmaid dress too. My bf couldn't find me and I wouldn't answer my phone. I ended up at a store and used a pay phone to call my sister. I had a phone but in my drunken state I guess I thought I didn't have one. As I'm waiting someone drove up to me n asked if I needed a ride but I yelled and cursed at them and they drove off (lol) and finally my sister showed up. I walked far and fast. I was angry and I don't know why. I blacked in and out. Once I stopped walking I was so trashed they had to help me in and out the car. I walked fine but once I stopped it was like I hit a wall.

I'm 30 now with 3 kids. We don't always make the best choices when we are young We always think that nothing bad will happen to us. But we are learning and growing so we will make mistakes! I'm praying for Hannah. I look at my girls and I can't imagine how her parents are feeling. I would prob have to be admitted to a crazy house! Prayers to her family!
Wow. You were so lucky!!!!
