Veteran reported missing in Eau Claire

Missing from a bar, last seen speaking with two women not with his party (according to family missing poster)
 
James Bernard Liedtka, 28, has been missing since Sunday, November 4th. Police and fire officials conducted a routine search of the Chippewa River for clues into his disappearance. He was last seen on Water Street in Eau Claire before losing contact with friends.

Police say he was last seen wearing a baseball cap, white button up and red plaid and black striped shirt and jeans. Missing for more than 72 hours, his family says they're concerned for his safety.

The ECPD is actively investigating a missing persons case.

On Saturday November 3, 2018 James B. Liedtka (DOB: 09/06/1990) and several friends were on Water Street during the evening hours. Liedtka separated from his friends later on in the evening but had telephone contact with one of them at approximately 12:25 am Sunday morning. Liedtka was reported missing Monday afternoon.

The Eau Claire Police Department and the Eau Claire Fire Department are searching this area. No
additional assistance is needed in the search.

Liedtka is described to be 5'7", 170 lbs with dark brown hair and eyes. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap, white button up red plaid and black stripes shirt and jeans.

According to Liedtka's telephone records, his last activity was on November 4, 2018 at 8:25 pm.

The GPS coordinates provided by the telephone company led the police to the 1100 block Menomonie Street near the Chippewa River. The Eau Claire Police Department and the Eau Claire Fire Department are searching this area. No additional assistance is needed in the search.

Update to missing person James Liedtka (28yo):

Our Detectives have reviewed surveillance footage from the Water St. area. James was last seen at 1:13am on November 4th walking Eastbound behind the Pickle Tavern. We are continuing our search efforts, and today searched the riverbanks in the 200-400 blocks of Water St with Eau Claire Fire Rescue.

Tuesday, police and fire crews are searching the riverbank along the 200-400 blocks of Water Street after detectives spotted Liedtka on Water St. video surveillance walking in the 300-400 blocks. He was last seen walking eastbound behind the Pickle Tavern towards the bike trail at 1:13 a.m.

Here's a google map of the Pickle Tavern. If you blow it up using the + sign on the right you can see the Chippewa Trail right behind the tavern and right on the river. It would be way too easy to end up in the water if transversing that late at night after drinking at a bar. Praying for this young man's family. Google Maps
 
Imo, Jim, Jack, Johnnie, and Hiram are killing these young men.
There are not rogue murderers on the loose just looking to push these guys into water causing drowning.
I take my tinfoil hat off for my opinion.
