Circumstances of DisappearanceDavid Williams was last seen on November 11, 1980 at the old service station/bar in Creston Junction at approximately 17:30 hours. He placed a phone call while at the service station before leaving as the passenger in a brown or tan Chevrolet Blazer with an unidentified white male subject, headed south on Hwy. 789. The Chevrolet Blazer was believed to belong to David Barker Jr. of Upton, WY, who is also a suspect in this investigation. David called his wife during the evening, saying he was driving south to check an oil rig and would be home late. He was not seen or heard from again. His body has never been located.

Missing Person, November 11, 1980, Sweetwater County, Wyoming: David Richard Williams, 33 at the time of disappearance, 74 at current time, was last seen in a brown Chevy Blazer traveling south on HWY 789 from Creston Junction on November 11, 1980. He is reported as a white male, approximately 6’2″ with blue eyes and brown hair, and seen wearing a button-down shirt, jeans, and large cowboy boots. David wore dark-colored plastic-framed glasses. He is believed to have been a victim of foul play. Details of Disappearance​

Williams was last seen at the old bar and service station in Creston Junction, Wyoming at 5:30 p.m. on November 11, 1980. He placed a call to his wife there, saying he was going to check on an oil rig and would be home late.

He left in a brown or tan Chevrolet Blazer driven by an unidentified Caucasian male, going south on Highway 789. He has never been heard from again. Authorities believe the vehicle Williams was last seen in was owned by David Barker Jr.; Barker is a suspect in the disappearance.

Williams had a trucking business, Chances R. Trucking in Wamsutter, Wyoming, at the time of his disappearance; the company was involved in hauling supplies to oil rigs in the area. He doesn't have a history of leaving without warning. His case remains unsolved.
