Madeline Soto missing: Florida mom begs for daughter's safe return home

A mother in Orange County is begging for help locating her missing daughter.

Madeline ‘Maddie’ Soto was last seen on Monday, one day after she and her family celebrated her 13th birthday. Maddie’s mother, Jenn Soto, said surveillance video shows Maddie hanging out in a church parking lot on February 26 after being dropped off for school, but she never made it inside.

Jenn Soto said sheriff’s deputies are using K9s and a piece of Maddie’s clothing to try to track her scent near Town Loop Boulevard.

Because mainstream media reports, including WFTV 9 of Jennifer Soto giving law enforcement information that "does not add up," we will allow Jennifer to be discussed as a possible suspect.

This DOES NOT mean you are allowed to make up names to be used instead of her real name (momster), and it does not mean that you can be snarky and mean.

You can discuss her conflicting stories when it comes to the disappearance and murder of her daughter, Madeline, and what the implications of those conflicting stories could mean.

So if we are talking the Life Storage in NorthPort, it could be SS belongings from when he didn’t live at home (do we know at what point he lived elsewhere other than his parents house? Long enough to amass furniture etc to pay money to keep in storage rather than sell? Did he ever actually formally Live at the townhouse with JS?)

If she said it to friends or family (aunt, grandma, bio dad), it could be because she has maybe rarely slept alone, groomed and conditioned. Or that she was afraid to sleep alone, because of what had been perpetrated against her.

But it's also the case that others (JS, SS) said it. In an attempt to make co-sleeping in this context sound less creepy, icky, risky, perverse, criminal. She doesn't sleep with us because we make her. No, she can't sleep alone so we let her. Gross.

Nearly half her life poisoned, pretty much as far back as she could remembet.

I think this is one of the times when SS is telling a partial truth. He probably DID have Danishes in the car. I bet JS had already gone to BJs or Costco or whichever warehouse store SS mentioned they were supposed to go to together, and had a box of these in the kitchen. He may have brought them up with him the day before on the long drive from his parents' place. Just tossed something in the car for snacking and then left it there when he arrived at his destination, to where he simply had them on-hand as an excuse for why McD's hadn't been necessary after all.

I wanted to know more about her life from before SS was introduced to her. To be honest, I don’t trust that JS was making amazing choices the whole time for her and her daughter. I’d like to know what Ms life was like while her mother was married to her first husband who I am not naming per terms of service of websleuths. I’d like to know what caused her marriage to him to end? Was it a horrible situation of them arguing all the time? Loud angry words in the night? Things been slammed or thrown about? I’m not even accusing her ex husband - I think Js could well have had her own demons and perhaps her mental health made her hard to live with? No idea what Ms life was like before SS but somehow I don’t believe it was serene and peaceful. It seems like there was some big adjustment (now ex husband probably moved in with them, it went sour, then he moved out… was there someone else in the middle or was it direct to SS?). Poor kid had so much to deal with and still smiled at her party.

Not saying anything you guys don't already know, but I just listened to SS police interview again. Shocking how ridiculous it sounds now that we have more information. but the lies...
SS says " So we woke up early, the plan was we were going to go get McDonald's breakfast on the way so we made amazingly good time.
“amazingly?? ” school didn't start for another 2 hours.

After making amazingly good time he asks if she's okay to be dropped off 1.5 hours early.
When questioned again about why his car is seen at 810 he says he made a u-turn because he forgot something ( clicker) even tho, "we were nearly at the school. we turned around and had lots of time ...
Then LE asks about him not having his phone that day "Yeah, I was so busy riding herd ? to get us out the door on time, that I left my phone at home, and she left her phone at home...”
Riding herd to get us out the door on time? on time for what? McDonalds?

She came home from the party showed them her gifts and went to bed and “that was it”. but this day he now remembers that she sang for him last night and he immediately wanted to show her the movie sister act. So irritating that he adds this extra info like it's important.
Talks about this “ phase she's going through” about being seen in certain cars? What phase? He has been gone for 2 months. Jenn’s been taking her. what phase??? Please.
he also says Jenn and Maddi had a good relationship for the most part, but he's the one she goes to for comfort if they have a disagreement. another red flag, not just because of the comfort, but he's triangulating.
He makes me so sick, this is when you wish you were a baseball bat on the wall, forget the fly.
