Cynthia Gobble was last seen at 348 Country Lane in Mocksville. She is believed to be traveling in a white 1997 Ford F-250 pickup truck with North Carolina plate number YV1974. Authorities believe she could be headed to a home at High Rock Lake in Davidson County.

Cynthia Gobble is described as white with shoulder-length, brown hair and brown eyes. She stands 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds. She was last seen wearing a pink short-sleeved shirt that says "Colorado," blue jean shorts and brown Birkenstock sandals

The suspect is identified as Gregory Wayne Gobble, 59, Mocksville, who is described as around 5’10” with graying hair, a mustache and beard, and might be wearing khakis and a white t-shirt.

Davie County Sheriff J.D. Hartman says Cynthia has diabetes, and officials believe she does not have her medication with her.

The family reports that it is odd for her to be out of touch for this long, and her personal belongings were found in her vehicle.

An Ashanti Alert is similar to an Amber Alert but is for adults who may be in danger. Officials stated there is evidence of physical endangerment, abduction or kidnapping in Gobble’s disappearance.

Deputies said the couple is married but separated.

DAVIE COUNTY, N.C. — BREAKING: A husband and wife missing out of Davie County have been found dead, according to investigators.

The Davie County Sheriff's Office said they found the bodies of Cynthia and Greg Gobble in a wooded area just outside of Iredell County around 11 a.m. Friday.

Detectives have not said how they died. They said they do not believe any other persons are involved in the incident and there is no threat to the public.

When I looked up "Ashanti Alert" to see what it was, and saw that this one was cancelled, I was afraid of that.

He was an abusive deadbeat soon after marrying her and was about to lose a roof over his head and living off her.
I am so sorry Cynthia, you tried to leave him. RIP.
Gregory may you burn!
Cindy had a beautiful family, they have been robbed of her presence and love forever :(
It never ends with these kind of men, why don't they just off themselves?
