Call outs:
  • Given that MSM is now reporting on LE enforcement interactions with the Deven family, I've added publicly available information on some of those.
  • Ava calls 911 in January, says her son is missing. Felicia says she was informed that Blake/Trenton is missing in February. March 20, a 15 y/o in the home calls 911 and threatens self harm. Police say on March 27 they conduct interviews for an investigation not related to Blake’s disappearance, and they search three related locations. March 28 they go public about Blake’s disappearance. Why such quick action after March 27?
  • The emergency petition re: Leonie was reported to be regarding medical and financial control. Fayetteville Observer said the judge granted DSS medical contro, but I don't know what came of the financial aspect.

When was a case like this one ever ended on a good note? She only reported him missing because LE started asking questions about another case, she knew it was only a matter of time until LE realized that neither Blake or London have been seen for years.

Saying that she might not be responsible is wild. Then who is responsible for Blake? By her accounts, he went missing when he was 16. She had the responsability to report him missing. This is not normal or acceptable.

I should clarify that I wasn’t denying parental neglect or failure to report a missing person within a timely manner - those are facts provided to us by MSM and LE.

  • Given that MSM is now reporting on LE enforcement interactions with the Deven family, I've added publicly available information on some of those.
  • Ava calls 911 in January, says her son is missing. Felicia says she was informed that Blake/Trenton is missing in February. March 20, a 15 y/o in the home calls 911 and threatens self harm. Police say on March 27 they conduct interviews for an investigation not related to Blake’s disappearance, and they search three related locations. March 28 they go public about Blake’s disappearance. Why such quick action after March 27?
  • The emergency petition re: Leonie was reported to be regarding medical and financial control. Fayetteville Observer said the judge granted DSS medical contro, but I don't know what came of the financial aspect.

I’m very curious if/when they would release further information about the remains that were found.

Will they wait for the full autopsy report to be finished with tox screen (which all takes forever) or will they release ID in advance once they confirm it? …Or 3rd option, they tell us nothing.

A lot of it probably depends on whether they can make a firm identification. If it's an unidentified homeless person, for instance, we're likely to hear more than if it is someone connected to a criminal investigation.

Generally it seems like information doesn't get released before the tox screen.
 
Still nothing, no updates on the investigation into Blake or London's disappearance.

I supsect, with remains being skelatal and partial, identification may be a real challenge. Regardless of whether they belong to one of the two reported missing Deven adoptees, or an unrelated transient.

Odds are those remains belong to one of the two missing young people in this case since they were located during searches related to Blake and London.

I just wish the press hadn't seem to drop this case as quickly as they picked it up. It's been weeks now, with zero updates from LE since April 12th when they announced having found remains during searches at unnamed locations re the Deven kids. That is well over a month. Radio silence. :(

Avantae Deven's mother passed away on May 21st. Just ten days after Avantae's rights as medical decision maker were revoked. RIP Mrs. Maxwell. No obituary except a death notice. No words of love or appreciation. Nothing.

Where are Deven and London? Where is Ava? Whose partial remains were found during the search?
