My press conference notes:
(No link yet because I watched the FB Live from Fayetteville PD, but the whole thing was only 10 minutes so timestamps are probably useless.) Edit:
- November 2023 LE responded to a mental health crisis and the subject involved in the mental health crisis said he had not seen his brother for 5 years, the last time he saw his brother he had a broken arm, and he is now dead
- Interviews determined AD adopted 5 children
- Those children were kept in small rooms and given little food and could earn food by doing paperwork
- Officials believe that Blake died while the family lived in the Eichelberger house and AD forced family members to participate in dismembering then burning his body
- Officials also learned London had not been seen and believe she died in the same way: through starvation
- Fayetteville PD located a burn barrel in which partial human remains were found. One was identified as a female between 15 and 19 years of age, another of a child 7 to 10. Testing was expedited and last week the female remains were determined to belong to London. Testing continues on the other remains.
- Last confirmed independent sighting of London was in 2019. She had special needs and depended on an adult to care for her
- Where were the remains found? Remains were located at an address in [edit:Autryville] community of Cumberland County, the location that was searched with the assistance of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office
- Why did it take so long to arrest AD? Investigative process, they want to make sure the case is solid and prosecutable.
- Why wasn’t she arrested for something like negligence of a missing minor? Reporter pushes this question which is sort of evaded. AD had a story for where Blake could be, so they had to investigate that.
- I think this is Chris Lovingood?
- Are there any additional charges AD could face in relation to the death of Leonie? Nonanswer, they’re speaking today only on the charges that they are comfortable moving forward with
- Who in the household helped with the disposal? They will not be answering that. Reporter is then cut off.
- How was AD during arrest? Cooperative
- They then cut off the conference, despite clear other questions.
