Read in that article that Lynn is unhappy in jail and has complained that the living conditions are not up to scratch.

Lynn should just be thankfully he is living. Unfortunately, the same can't be said of Russell Hill and Carol Clay.

Obviously just speculating... but just another take on the theme that some truthful elements could have been massaged into something else to sound less sinister. Suspect due to the carefully destroyed evidence nobody will ever know for sure.

I agree that there are likely some truthful elements mixed in with the rest of his made up story..

One thing that keeps making me wonder is how Lynn “repeatedly switched between Hill having his rifle and shotgun during evidence in his police interview and in the witness box.” I feel like as someone who is so familiar with guns the likely explanation is that it’s easier to remember the truth than fiction..

When he was initially arrested and all these stories came out about it raised serious questions about his character and didn't help his situation.

I wonder how his story would have been viewed if he had the opposite background and stories coming out when he was arrested.

More importantly, I wonder if there would have been 2 guilty verdicts if GL didn't destroy all of the evidence.
Of course, his character is questionable, even without the stories.

Good summary. Lynn's story is so unbelievable it is almost comical. But I guess it's hard to make 2 deaths when you are the only other person around, just go away.

I'm wondering if the hierarchy among prisoners at the prison in which GL will be incarcerated (ie if any appeal fails ) will change at all.

Will he be considered a "model" prisoner, setting a good example - maybe demonstrating a willingness to impart his knowledge of employment-related skills (for example) to his fellow prisoners?

Will he write a memoir?

Will he turn to God? and/or seek solace chatting with the prison chaplain?

I am aware of course that he may be incarcerated in a section of the prison isolated from others for security reasons (his security I think (??) - ICBW perhaps it's for the other prisoners' security.....

Well, it has been said that a lot more would come out about GL but I didn't think it would be this quick. OMG!!

The latest article in The Age & SMH ..... "Greg Lynn & the mystery of the double fatality at Zig Zag Rd, Mt Macedon".

Reports are, in 2010 in Zig Zag Rd, Mt Macedon, less than 1km from the GL's former home in Mt Macedon, neighbors were found shot dead in the bedroom of their home. The deaths were an apparent suicide/murder ... their 3 dogs were shot, the wife was in her nightdress and shot in the head, the husband shot himself and their home was burned to the ground.

"Within days of Lynn’s arrest in 2021 over the deaths of RH & CC, a former law enforcement officer familiar with the Zig Zag Road murder-suicide contacted Hill/Clay investigators asking them to reopen the Viergever case"

(Zig Zag Road was where GL used to live with his wife Lisa and he moved out in 1999.)

The above article about a double fatality happened less than 1km from where Lynn once lived.

There was a connection between the deceased couple and the Lynn family.

The deceased woman was the stepsister of Athol Guy of The Seekers

Police told one witness when they were asking about Lisa, that they were also looking at other cases that may involve Greg Lynn.

The article was written by John Silvester and seems to be fairly informative.

According to the article, It appears that these neighbours were friends of Lisa Lynns and often helped her around the house. (apparently, GL did not like them).

I'm not so sure there's no connection TootsieFootsie. At this point in time, nothing will surprise me with regards to
GL's previous history. Time will tell.

For some reason I didn't see that part in the article. I did skip over some. Don't know how I missed it.
That does make a difference, there being a connection.

Hopefully more people who knew GL will come forward with anything else they know.
