A Florida Missing Child Alert has been issued for Atraya Berardi, 16, who was last seen in the 900 block of Ocaso Lane in Rockledge.

A Florida Missing Child Alert has been issued for Atraya Berardi, 16, who was last seen in the 900 block of Ocaso Lane in Rockledge.

Berardi was wearing black Nike shorts at the time. She has a heart tattoo on her left thumb, multiple nose piercings, and a left ear-piercing. She may be traveling with a gray cat and a cat carrier.

The Rockledge Police Department believes Berardi is in danger. She is described as a white female with brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 110 pounds.

Police in Brevard County are looking for a missing teenager they believe to be in danger.

Police are looking for Atraya Berardi, 16. She was last seen in the 900 block of Ocaso Lane in Rockledge, off Playa Del Sol Drive and Barnes Boulevard.

According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, police in Rockledge believe Berardi is in danger, based on an ongoing investigation. No information about that investigation was released.

Police say Atraya may also be traveling with a cat carrier with a gray cat inside.

I wish there was more info about the cat and cat carrier. Someone posted they found an empty small pet carrier on the local group. It was found in Dunedin on the same street I live on. When I saw this I was thinking that someone might see the cat or cat carrier and identify possible with a photo

Details:​

Atraya Berardi was last seen on May 24, 2024, at 23:00 hours, leaving her residence where she lived with her aunt and uncle in Rockledge, Floridda, since March 2024. Prior to that, Berardi lived in Palatka, Florida, with her mother until January 2024, when her mother passed away. Berardi has no other ties to Rockledge. Berardi left behind her cellular phone, laptop, and most of her personal belongings. She left with her gray cat, that has a deformed ear, in a pet carrier and a bag of toiletries. Berardi has a history of running away in Palatka; however, she always returns after a couple days. The Rockledge Police Department is asking for assistance in locating Berardi or providing details of her disappearance.

Absolutely not a peep from her as far as I know. My daughter is about the same age and doesn't recognize her at all. They live only a few doors down
