This just brings tears to my eyes. It is so amazing the work that the Iskanders are doing for foster children.

Well, I guess we didn't need to worry about RG at Chowchilla. She got herself moved to Chino. A nice place.

Money makes the world go around.

Oh, maybe she'll befriend Betty Broderick!

So Mickey... what is your assessment of how this happened. Or happens.

Why is Chino a nice place in comparison... just curious about the CA prisons!!!

the link doesn't really say anything... maybe you have a different access.

I don't know how to answer this question with political correctness. But, suffice to say that it makes it easier for the prison system to group people with similar backgrounds in the same place. It reduces fights, tension and keeps things moving easier in a place that is already on the edge of being volatile in a heartbeat.

I have no doubt RG already has herself ensconced in the medical area with some sort of esoteric disorder or disease that requires isolation from general population. Chino has a medical treatment facility. And also a substance abuse treatment program that RG desperately needs. She will no doubt attend the classes with an air of superiority that I have often seen.

This is exactly what I would have predicted. She has access to lawyers and money to facilitate her "medical care" and keep her privileged and away from the general riff-raff.

It will also be much easier for her society friends from the Foundation to come and visit her in Chino, rather than Chowchilla ( as if, ha!)

Two narcissists meet at prison.
Rebecca Grossman and Betty Broderick have a lot in common. Both are obviously extreme narcissists and are narcissistic psychopaths. They have issues of self-hatred as they body image issues. They are highly repressed people and highly prone to anger. Even though Grossman is not known to harbor grudges, I would not be surprised if she is an injustice collector. She always likes to play victim like Broderick. That can also be said of Jodi Arias, Lori Drew, Casey Anthony, Gertrude Baniszewski, Pamela Smart, Bryan Kohberger, Andrew Cunanan, Jeffrey Dahmer, David Berkowitz, Dean Corll, Elliot Rodger, Eric Harris, Robert Steinhauser, Nikolas Cruz, Salvador Ramos, Campo Elias Delgado, Panya Kamrab, Omar Mateen, Stephen Paddock, Anders Breivik, Tsarnaev Brothers, Osama bin Laden, Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Hideki Tojo, Pol Pot, and Mao Zedong. In the end, Rebecca Grossman, Betty Broderick, and <insert any extreme and dangerous narcissist> are all the same.

Another case, very similar. Two brothers, biking, killed by a suspected drunk driver. He passed a car on the right side, and hit the brothers riding their bikes on the right side of the road.

"The parents of two young boys
killed by wealthy socialite Rebecca Grossman
in
a horrific hit-and-run car crash
waited almost four years to see her convicted of murder and imprisoned for 15 years to life.

Now they’re going after her money."

If anyone deserved a huge settlement from a civil suit, it's the family of the two boys. This article is worded as if the Iskander family is trying to scam the Grossmans.

Agreed. I can't imagine that anyone would want to be in their circumstances. Just so heartbreaking.

Rebecca Grossman could have saved millions, by gracefully taking responsibility for her actions, and spared the Iskander's years of continued grief by not forcing them to stand up for their sons justice.

One of the worst things RG did, was when she skipped a court hearing. As if killing two children is the same as a parking ticket! Just ignoring her part in their death, going about her life of organizing parties and meeting people for drinks.

The Iskander family sued Grossman and Scott Erickson, a former professional baseball player and Grossman's then-boyfriend who also was on the road the night of the crash. The wrongful death case, filed in early 2021, was put on hold during Grossman’s criminal trial. She was convicted earlier this year.

In a Van Nuys courtroom on Monday, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Huey Cotton set a December 2025 trial date for the civil case. But Cotton told the attorneys, who appeared remotely, that the trial could be on hold until Grossman’s initial appeal of her criminal case is resolved.

Eyeroll. I have no doubt RG will appeal as far as she can go. By that time, all of her personal money will be gone to attorney fees, whatever is left that she hasn't hidden or stashed.

The court deferred the initial civil case until the criminal case had been completed. Now, they want to wait until the entire appeal process has been completed?!

Well, at least RG is in prison, where she belongs. Her denial of responsibility should be noted for her release date, and potential probation.

Hmm, it would be "an invasion of Erickson's privacy" to obtain his DMV records?! Umm, I don't think so!
